I purchased this because I rent and did not want to add a permanent morror to the bathroom wall or cabinets. I needed something for applying makeup comfortably and a bit more effortlessly. I also needed to be able to easily store it the mirror either in a cabinet or below the sink due to a lack of vanity space. I had a hard time finding something that was high enough so I didn't need to bend over so much to apply makeup too. This mirror met my basic requirements and the light was a added bonus that I thought I didn't need but realized how useful it is and I use it all the time. It's easy to pull the mirror up and down to use and then store and the light turns on ablnd off by tapping the mirror. The light is awesome and holds a charge nicely. My only complaint is the mirror when extended is bit wobbly and tends to lean to one side a bit. I can totallylive with this and feel like this was a great find as I had a hard time locating a mirror with all these features at a price I could afford. I would recommend this to anyone who has the need for a mirror that does everything mentioned in my review. I really like the fact that this mirror can be adjusted to a higher height than any others I have seen - so much easier on my back! The mirror has good adjustable lighting and magnification. I also like that it is rechargeable so there are no unsightly cords on the vanity.The only negative is that the stand is too slender and can be a bit unstable if you bump into it . ... show more

    • Get a new charging cord.
It works fine. A bit wobbly. Just BEWARE this was my third replacement. All the cords that came with the mirror got hot and broke or burned out the connection. I figured this out on my third replacement. I bought a new charging cord before I used it and it has worked perfectly since. The cord doesn’t get hot and I keep it plugged in all the time. So I’m on the fence whether to recommend it. I needed a tall mirror and this is one of the tallest I could find. ... show more

I haven't traveled with it yet, but I expected it to be taller when extended and was hoping it was more solid

    • The mirror is set up very well with optional luminance and color temperature.
My wife needs LOTS of light when she uses a mirror, this mirror satisfies her needs plus some. It charges quickly and holds its charge for quite a long time.
