I thought this mini saxophone looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. The instrument itself appears to be fairly well made and it has a regular ligature and reeds so I thought it seemed more than just a toy item. I did try all the reeds and I thought there was one of the natural reeds that did seem to work better than the rest. I could get this to play music but in my opinion it just doesn't have a very good sound. Maybe it's just me, but I'm wondering if the reeds or the mouthpiece itself is to blame. I did soak the natural reeds before use and tried adjusting the reeds quite a number of times. I'm not very skilled on sax so maybe if you are you'd have better luck with this than I did. ... show more

    • Fun Instrument. Even for adults
As the headline states: Fun Instrument. Even for adults I used to play clarinet as a kid years ago and not very well. I'd figure I'd give this a shot. Over all it's a very solid instrument with extra pads and reeds. It is fun to play but unfortunately it does not come with the music sheet pictured. The music sheet is not listed in the items shipped so I hope the seller will update one or the other. ... show more
