I wear a full wig as a headband wig since I am trying to grow my hair back after losing 75% of it because of covid. Over time, my headband and do not stay put. Because of this, I have tried wig grip bands that were but they never worked. So I gave up trying eventually. Some of them, actually look the same as this one. I decided to try this one recently since it popped up on my feed and am so glad that I did. My wig stays put all day. I can brush the hair and it won’t move. It has been very windy as well and it doesn’t move. One piece of advice is to make sure you don’t put it too tight. I thought the tighter, the better but that is not the case. Also, you will get bad headaches and your scalp will be sore if it’s too tight. I am thinking over time it will stretch out too much and not be effective but I will keep buying these over and over until I no longer choose to wear a wig. I will also come back with an update to let you know when I had to replace it. If you don’t see an update, that means I haven’t had to replace it. ... show more

The WiGrip is fantastic! Totally adjustable, comfortable, no drag or pulling on fragile thin hair. The wig feels very secure and I am trult amazed! What a huge relief to just fasten my hair up with one bobby pin and put on the WiGrip headband and then the wig and it's fast and you can freely brush and style your wig while you're wearing it, that's how secure it is! No upward creepage at back of neck, or on top or sides! No worries! Yes, it's expensive for being a small bit of fabric, but it's well made and works perfectly! I've been a perpetual victim of public wig slippage, so purchasing this was a MUST. I'm still experimenting with the wig functionality of it. But so far so good! However, when it comes to holding scarves, satin caps in place, etc? This little head band is BRILLIANT. I constantly experienced slippage of my satin/silk scarves and du-rags in the past. They would almost never stay on overnight. But this product changed everything. I wake up in the morning and it's still in place, with the same tightness as if I just put it on! The reason I haven't given it 5 stars yet is that I still need to test its effectiveness and consistency with wigs. However, if it can keep a silky scarf on my head overnight, a wig shouldn't be an issue. CAUTION: I can see how this band could be somewhat damaging to edges if not worn carefully. I definitely wouldn't wear it 24/7, and highly recommend keeping your edges moisturized to protect them from being rubbed out. It doesn't need to be worn tightly to do the job, but should be fitted securely to your head comfortably. Overall, I love it! It's simple, effective, and super easy to use. ... show more

This is it – the original Milano wig grip band. I like it so much— I like it better than the kind with the lace in front (which never made sense to me anyway.) It is the most comfortable way to wear a wig, in my opinion. My favorite way to use it is to put it on, take a lace front wig with all the lace and the hairline cut out of it until the edge is solid Hair, then pull the lace over the velvet wig grip and pull out some of my own hair in front. Then nobody can ever ever tell that I’m wearing a wig- and it stays put all day and does not shift, even. The Milano brand is a little bit pricey, and I find that some of the discounts it brands work also. But you get what you pay for. And I think the Milano brand is the best. Besides that, it seems like they’ve come down on price. They used to be $30, but they aren’t anymore because they have to compete with other brands who are making the same product, I think. I have worn it a couple of times...it feels good when I wear it....it does not slide on my head.....but my hair is fine...and my hair seemed to be breaking off a little where the band ends at the top of my head.. Maybe if I had thick hair...I might not have the problem....not sure. I might try it again and see how it goes... Can you do wi thout the label on the outside? Just a thought ... show more

This wiggrip is AMAZING! I'm not sure where I've been hiding all along without this in my life. Most of the time when I wear my wigs, it comes with the wig clips or I will use bobby pins. Well, I said buh-bye to that and HELLO to this lifesaver of my edges. While the wig clips did it job, it was starting to cause some damage to my thick full hairline which was a big no-no. It really keeps your wig in place and fits snug so you know it is secure. I've been using this product for way over a month or two and it still holds up. I must say though, over time it does tend to stretch it out a bit with constant wear but it still a great product overall. ... show more
