This is it – the original Milano wig grip band. I like it so much— I like it better than the kind with the lace in front (which never made sense to me anyway.) It is the most comfortable way to wear a wig, in my opinion. My favorite way to use it is to put it on, take a lace front wig with all the lace and the hairline cut out of it until the edge is solid Hair, then pull the lace over the velvet wig grip and pull out some of my own hair in front. Then nobody can ever ever tell that I’m wearing a wig- and it stays put all day and does not shift, even. The Milano brand is a little bit pricey, and I find that some of the discounts it brands work also. But you get what you pay for. And I think the Milano brand is the best. Besides that, it seems like they’ve come down on price. They used to be $30, but they aren’t anymore because they have to compete with other brands who are making the same product, I think. That’s just a guess.

So, these work really well for preventing heavy cosplay wigs and regular lace front wigs from slipping, HOWEVER if you have a larger head or a lot of hair that you have to fit under a wig cap these will be too small. I had to order 2 and combine them together in order for it to fit on my head and around my hair. I think that they should make larger sizes to be more accommodating to different headshapes.

This works like a DREAM! If you wear a wig even once, I recommend this band. It velcros around your head easily, you slip your wig on over it, and it holds in place ALL DAY! My wig never budges once with this bad boy on. It really is a game-changer. As a teacher, I need something easy and reliable so that I can move and work without a second thought to my wig and this band does the trick. Before I bought it, I was worried that it would be thick and bulky under my wig, but it is not. The band is soft, thin, and very breathable. It really doesn't add any extra bulk. You can barely tell it's there. I was also worried that it would still slip back on my head. No matter what type or brand, every stretchy headband, wig cap, or around-the-head type thing I've tried has always immediately slid back on my head and popped off—even when I was a teenager! So frustrating. This, however, stays TOTALLY put. It is not elastic and it doesn't move or slip all day. Seriously, get it. You won't be disappointed. <3 If you're not sure or are going to look at other brands/items, I'd recommend just stopping and buying this one now. I haven't tried many others, but this is all I'll ever need

I am no longer a skeptic. I thought there was no way something as simple as a headband could free me from bobbie pins. But, now I'm a believer. I have alopecia, and have not yet embraced the baldness. Until I'm ready for the reality of being a bald woman in public, I wear a wig every day. I have just enough hair to use bobbie pins to hold the wig on. I'm not about to just plop a wig on my head and go. But, what am I supposed to do when I no longer have any hair? I was agonizing over this when I searched the source of all knowledge: youtube. There I watched several reviews, but thought it couldn't be that easy. The WiGrip is inexpensive enough for me toss it if it didn't work. But, it does! The best part is that it keeps the back securely in place. No more having to constantly tug at the nape. I've worn it three days now for 8-10 hours each time. I did not have tug at the back even once; it stayed down. The wig is a lace front, so I've had to use a little "It Stays" (which reminds me, I need to do a review for that) for the lace edge, but no more bobbie pins digging into my scalp! I bought the brown one. It is very dark brown. One suggestion: Which ever color you buy, use a matching permanent marker to color in the white tag, which is to be worn on the outside. Fortunately, before leaving home I looked at my profile in the mirror and saw that the tag was showing through. Also, it's a little awkward to scratch my scalp because I have to kind get underneath the headband. But, I'll figure it out. I've had no other issues. Now, I feel confident enough to shave my head knowing that any wig will be secure with the WiGrip.

Color: Nude, with 9 Nylon Wig Caps
I bought this so I could have a more comfortable alternative to a regular fishnet wig cap for cosplay. I bought the one that comes with 9 nylon wig caps as well, thinking they would be more comfortable. I struggled to get the nylon wig cap on my head. it doesn't have a hole on both ends like a fishnet wig cap so I couldn't put it on like a headband (putting it around my neck than pulling it up). So I struggled to tuck my hair in (I have thick, chin length wavy hair) I found that this wig grip was not as comfortable as a fishnet wig cap mostly because it was less breathable. And I'm going to a summer convention so that's important to me. It is really good at keeping the wig from sliding. But I actually prefer it to be able to slide, so I can adjust my wig on my head easier. And I won't be doing any dancing or wearing super heavy wigs that I'm worried about sliding, that's never been a problem for me. So I'll be sticking to my fish net caps. I think my issue with wigs being uncomfortable more has to to with my wig choice anyway since I've only tried cheap cosplay wigs. I have an Arda wig on the way that I'm hoping is comfortable!
