    • A beautiful and perfect cutlery set, but you are probably paying too much for it
This is easily the best cutlery set I've owned. Each piece feels just slightly overbuilt - a bit thicker and heavier than they need to be, but in a good way. All the edges are perfectly smooth (unlike every cheap set you can find here) and the shine hasn't diminished after weeks of washing. If you only want to buy one cutlery set and stick with it, you could just buy this one. I used to get a cheaper set every year or so hoping for it to be better than the last, but it never really is. When you can feel the utensils in a store, you can easily tell which feels like something you'd want to use, but online, its always a gamble. The only downside is the cost. I have another cutlery set that's less than half the price of this that is almost just as good, but only almost. I would take a star off from this, but aside from the price, there are no flaws, unlike almost every other cutlery set I've used from Amazon. ... show more

    • Nice set, but a waste of packaging
I haven't bought silverware in a while, but $100 for a 4 piece set seems awfully expensive. Also, the box it comes in is huge. They could have made it twice as small, and still work. Its a nice set, but my only gripe is the dinner fork and salad forks are the same size. It says the salad form should be 3/4 of a inch smaller, but it seems I got 8 dinner forks. ... show more

What a great looking silverware set that is polished to a mirrored finish. It only includes the basic silverware though, so no sporks or serving spoons. You will need to wash the set prior to use, and is dishwasher safe, but they do recommend to hand-dry the knives with a soft cloth and to not let them dry in the dishwasher. They also caution to avoid letting them sit in water or remain unwashed (guessing to maintain the finish). At first I was very careful while using, however for the past few weeks I have been using these like my standard silverware to see how they hold up. When using caution with them and maintaining carefully, they do retain the mirrored finish. Even after weeks of rougher usage, they are holding up quite well. Even using rougher green scrubbing pads on them, the finish still looks great, but does lose a tiny amount of the mirror finish which I am absolutely fine with. Since they are stainless steel and beefy they should hold up well over time for function. If you want a fancy set for when company comes over, this set does look and feel great. This would also make for a fantastic gift - especially for new homeowners or those who do not yet have any good silverware. I will keep using these daily, and will update this review should the finish change a lot. ... show more

This cutlery has a beautiful shine to it. This is perfect if you just need a small set, especially for an apartment or small family. The cutlery has a nice weight to it and is made of quality 18.0 steel that is very comfortable to use and very durable. The mirrored finish looks great and I prefer the non textured handle of this cutlery as opposed to fancier or more embellished handle designs. ... show more
