I loved this travel bottle. It fits perfectly in our car cup holders, and though the first time I purchased it, it leaked and the lid closure eventually broke off, I tried it for a second time hoping that they had fixed the issue. It seemed that they had and I was very happy with it until it dropped 16" off a coffee table onto the floor and the lid closure broke off. At first I thought it just popped off, but the part of the closure that allows it to swing open & closed are so short that they easily break off. This was the case both times and I have only had the product for less than 2 months...received it on 20 Feb & brok by 7 Apr. Sadly, I will not be buying this again as the size and overall design (with the exception of the poorly engineered lid closure) were perfect. ... show more

    • Aesthetically pleasing and functional
The Miir traveler has a nice clean and modern look. The insulation is good, and fine for keeping coffee or tea hot over the day, but is not comparable to the Zojirushi models. (I've found the Zojirushi models to actually keep beverages too hot). Mine does not leak when I seal it properly, but the design of the flip top isn't excellent, which is why I give four stars. I need to wipe off the top before I put the mug in my bag, and I think the seal will degrade with use. ... show more

Bought this for a road trip where I needed a constant supply of coffee while driving and it worked well. The technology used to keep liquids hot is so amazing I can't drink coffee out of a regular mug anymore because of how quickly it cools, which I never noticed before.     • This is NOT leakproof!
I bought this after much research hoping to find a quality, leakproof coffee mug. I was sorely disappointed. The very first time I used it, it leaked all over my backpack despite sitting upright in the water bottle pocket the whole time. My papers were soaked, my computer got wet and it was a mess! The lid was screwed on tightly but it leaked out of the flip top opening (which was also tightly closed.) I wrote to the company thinking I just got a weird lid and never heard back. I have had a MiiR cup for years and leakage was never a problem. I wanted to get a new one in a larger size. I was very disappointed that the new one leaked but went ahead and exchanged it. The new one also leaks. Upon exam, it is the seal of the small air hole, which is manufacured differently. I hope they go back to the other way of manufacture. This is faulty. I still like their cups for home use but won't take it in a pack or anything. ... show more

    • Coffee on my nose every sip!
Great mug. Keeps coffee hot for a LONG time. One major flaw in the design however is that the flip up lid always taps wet coffee onto my nose with each sip! Pretty annoying.
