Description

In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers' long-time nemesis. Robo-Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Working together, Robo-Rita and Rita Repulsa rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, altering the course of history. Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from across the MMPR timeline finally succeed in destroying the Power Rangers? Or will these teenagers with attitude learn to work together and counter this catastrophic chronological collaboration? Fun for the Whole Family!
I bought this for my son for his birthday. He has replayed it countless times and insists that he, his sister, his mom, and I all play it together whenever possible. It really is a lot of fun to play with four players in co-op mode. It's a great family activity for kids. The controls are very easy to grasp, and then you're off to the races. It only takes 2-2.5 hours to beat it so that it can be done in an evening. If you're looking for something to do for a fun family night, this is definitely something worth considering. After you complete the game once, you unlock the Green Ranger, which gives you a little bit of replay value. You also unlock a menu full of "cheats," which can make the game easier or harder, depending on what you're in the mood for. You can enable things like one-hit kills, stronger enemies, etc. So it makes the game worth playing through at least 2-3 times, if not more. I definitely recommend this game to any '90s kids (like me), because it is a HUGE nostalgia trip, and my kids also love the original MMPR. It's a great game for some quality family time, and it's also just a really fun beat em' up at the end of the day. ... show more

A Colorful, Classic Adventure That Could Use More Depth If you grew up watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Rita’s Rewind hits a ton of nostalgia — and mostly delivers a vibrant, action-packed beat-’em-up experience. There’s a lot to love here, even if it doesn’t quite reach full superhero greatness. What Works Well True-to-Form Pixel Art & Soundtrack: Reminds me of the early ‘90s arcade style, complete with retro-inspired visuals and an energetic chiptune score that brings the nostalgia factor to life. Fun & Fast Combat: You get to play as the original Power Rangers team—including Megazord boss battles. Special moves and Ranger team-ups are a highlight, and each character handles differently enough to keep things fresh. Co-op for Up to 4 Players: Great fun with friends locally—classic pick-up-and-play multiplayer makes it easy and engaging for groups. Multiple Modes & Unlockables: Includes a challenge mode, nostalgic collectibles like Ranger trading cards, and even a gallery with behind‑the‑scenes artwork—fans will appreciate these little extras. Really Enjoyable Game
This game is SO much fun for Power Rangers fans. I love playing this with my kids, it's a blast. Also you can play with up to six people so it's great for families. It's quickly become a favorite.
