INITIAL IMPRESSION after receiving it today... Pros: -looks good -zippers are very smooth -seems well made but not super rugged -price was very fair -no frayed seems upon arrival Cons: -a bit too small for my personal use -i prefer tough gear I got this bag to use for my training gear. I'm 6'2 and I wont be able to carry all my XL gear in this. So far i can fit my shin guards, mma gloves, head gear and mitts with a little extra room and all pockets empty. But I will not be able to add my boxing gloves or shoes for sure. I might be able to stuff a gi in there but it would be tight. I'll give it some use and see how it works out for me. As a product it seems descent but my personal use for it dictates that I'll probably need to upgrade. ... show more

The bag is very sturdy and even though it is small it is quite spacious. I was able to fit 2 pairs of running sneakers in the shoe pocket and still had adequate space for my gym towel and clothes. There is also a pocket to store your keys, maybe your phone and other small items. And there is a nifty side pocket which I stuff my water bottle in. Wouldn't classify it as a water bottle holder but it's great when u need to tuck away something in you hand quite quickly. The bag is also great as a second carry-on. I was able to put my bag under the seat infront of me quite comfortably. This is an awesome bag, great quality. Seems to be sturdy. Just don't drag it on the ground/floor because it doesn't have the little stands at the bottom of the bag. Recommend you buy!!! ... show more

So far, so good. I wanted a professional-looking gym bag I could take to work, or on business trips, with a separate shoe pouch, that wouldn't break the bank. Looked at a bunch and this seemed the best-reviewed and best looking. Pros: Definitely looks like a high-quality Herschel bag, somewhat even better in the gray IMO, but with what seems like a more durable outside material that should resist both abrasions and dirt / stains (to be seen). Also, has no logos, which is a plus. What's nice is the added inclusion of the free dopp kit bag, perfect for the gym. Cons: Zippers are so far ok but I could see them as being 1 of the weak spots potentially down the line. Also, bc of the sturdy outside material, it tends to keep odors in - airing out the bag / shoe compartment, or using Febreze, etc., should do the trick though. ... show more

The bag itself is awesome, will probably buy the same bag over and over if it's ever still available. Problem that I had from the beginning is one of the zipper tabs (that part you use to pull the open the zipper?) Started to unravel. It's not a big deal but that's that. Another bigger issue is that the zipper does sometimes snag when opening. It gets stuck and then it gets hard to move either way almost to point where trying to fix it feels like it's going to brake it, it would suck to get another bag so soon because of an issue like that. That bag itself is fantastic, really big, lot's of space to put my gym shoes, shower slippers, gym clothes, work clothes, a bath towel, face towel, a few small protein and powder containers, hair gel and things like that, all in one go. While it does sound like that might cause the zipper snag it actually happens also when I don't have much of anything in my bag. ... show more

20 inch bag is a stretch. Zippers feel cheap and mine had issues out of the box. Just wanted something that could fit my gloves, shoes and wraps and that's a no go. Pretty dissapointed, expect it to fall apart pretty quickly with any use. Update 3 to 5 stars: I've been using the bag for a while now so I'm upgrading my rating. The zippers that were initially bent eventually straightened out and started working properly. With a little Tetris-ing I've figured out how to fit the gym gear I need and the bag is holding up pretty well. I see all you skeptical buyers out there looking at this bag. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to get one myself as it does look similar to Herschel and I wanted to look cool of course. The material on the bag is sturdy enough to trust putting your belongings inside. The shoulder strap and clips feel the cheapest out of the whole bag. Included is a small toiletry accessory, which is quite convenient for the gym/travel and a very nice addition by the company. I mainly use this bag for the gym and occasional/day travel and the shoe pocket does fit my 11-12sz shoes comfortable. I would highly suggest to treat the bag with care in order to preserve the inner linings and zippers. Overall, would recommend giving this a shot. Wish there was a youtube video for every skeptical product out here on Amazon, maybe I'll start a review channel? ... show more

Great bag. I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and after class our rash guards contain a plethora of bad bacteria and sweat. It's nice to be able to store that in the side compartment so your whole back does not become compromised.
