These are amazing skates. Super fast, super comfortable, and a great price. I skate about 50 Miles a week around NYC/Brooklyn. I have a history of foot problems- injuries/surgeries. K2 as a brand has consistently been a favorite of mine for foot/ankle stability & comfort. Happy to wear their snowboard boots, my first set of pro skates as a teenager and now these awesome skates. Another thing I love about these is whether you are city skating, distance/speed skating through the park (I’m currently training for a 42K marathon through Prosepct Park on these) or hitting a skate park, they fit the bill. The entire brake mechanism is easy to remove for park skating & they feel exactly like an aggressive skate minus the grind pad. They are fast and easy to lace up, no ratchet system, just Velcro and laces. The top Velcro strap does an excellent job of stabilizing the entire ankle without sacrificing that comfortable soft boot feel. And yeah, they look amazing, I get compliments all the time. Make sure you grab the K2 skate tool & check their website for wheels, I was not able to find the exact replacements I want on Amazon at this time but they do have the tools, brake stoppers and I got an excellent set of K2 pads as well.

I love them! They're very sturdy, I live in new york so i skate on concrete and they don't really take the rough roads well; but they are great! They offer a great amount of support and ride really smooth. I will admit that they hurt but Ive never had a pair of skates all my life that didn't; it comes with the territory, you can wear skating socks (which need to be long to cushion your shin as its taking the brunt of the abuse) but honestly it doesn't bother me. These skates are otherwise very comfortable in terms of the shoe and sole. Only grimace I have with them is that the break which is removeable has a strange bolt that I can't seem to find the tool for and I find the break unnecessary and annoying. And like I was saying before the concrete is causing the wheels to grind down a lot faster than I expected. Regardless they're my favorite skates in the world. Ive always heard great things about k2 skates but Ive never tried them out and Im glad I finally did!

Super comfy, when I take them off I never feel stiff or like I've had plastic digging into my skin. Easy to put on, laces & double velcro, they look great, too. One issue I found on my pair is the holes for one of the shafts arent perfectly aligned, so one wheel was scraping against the plastic blades causing it to stop spinning. Took some disassembly and reassembly to try fix it. The bearings aren't great, maybe they're slower for tricks but I find I lose speed, so it takes effort to maintain speed. Getting a lot of vibration through the skates, not sure if it's due to stiff wheels or if my neighborhood roads just aren't in great condition.

Love the way this skate fits! Men's size 10 and I usually wear a 10. My heel only moves a little, and it's not crushing my arch. I do wish the top strap was a little lower, so it would help hold my heel in, instead of just inhibiting ankle movement. I love to have wheels on the skate that I'll actually use. I usually take them off to give to a beginner skater. These are great for urban skating: nice and wide, ride well, wear really well, and feel like polyurethane(not urethane). I also love that there's an extra axle, so I don't have to grind something out of old parts to make it fit. I'm really liking stability of the carbon fiber frame. I switched to aluminum from plastic 18 years ago and I think I'll stick with the carbon fiber and not put my aluminum frames on them. I really like that more parts on the skate are easily replaceable, including the lower strap, boot pivots, and standard frame.

I ride a train to work and then have to walk from the train station to my office. Normally this walk takes me about 20 minutes. Since switching to these bad boys, I've cut my walk down to 5 minutes. Incredible! On top of that, they are extremely fun to use, look amazing and are making all of my coworkers jealous. Except for Larry. That Debbie-downer hates everything though. Some other pros: - Got a thumbs up from a homeless man during my ride in to work the other morning - I'm really tall while wearing them - Did I mention they look fantastic? - Super fast Some cons: - My feet hurt if I don't take them off after like an hour - I can't drive while wearing them - No one can see my cool socks with them on - Riding uphill is much less fun than downhill Conclusion: Well worth the money. Heck, even at twice the cost, these would still be worth. Three thumbs up from me and that homeless guy

Growing up I used inline skates when I would hang with hockey friends but grew up skateboarding mostly. Eventually never inline skating until now in my late 20's . But it's perfect for exercise, staying active and getting to do something that is fun and makes you feel great. My gf is now getting skates and it's awesome to go rolling around with a beautiful woman. I can just say if I had bit seen these skates I wouldn't be making this review or being this happy about a product. I saw the picture when looking at socks of all things and thought they looked really cool. But I couldn't resist buying them. My favorite purchase ever on Amazon and for a reasonable price, I'm getting a lot of benefits from these skates. 10/10!
