They are maintenance free vinyl shutters that can be used on surfaces such as wood, aluminum, and masonry. The four joined board and batten shutters allow for a sturdy look, that characterizes an authentic old-world appeal. Mid-America board and batten vinyl exterior window shutters under 55in. in length will have two cross-battens and any shutter 55in. and over in length will have three cross battens. Delayed product. Poor communication (Amazon does not even show it ever shipped or I received it). I cancelled the order because of the delay and a week later the shutters were delivered by UPS. The shutters have no back, so they tend to warp, hence the need for lots of screws. (Through Amazon they come with two types of screws) They look fine from a distance, but I would not buy again. Shutters are great added look to my house. They resemble wood grain and give it a country look. They are made of heavy plastic. Easy to install however there are no predrilled holes. I would purchase these again. Only had them up for a couple of months so far.

This is a flimsy piece of plastic. No holes or directions on how to hang them. The cheapest shutter I could have imagined. Each shutter weighs about 3 pounds. What is even worse is that we want to return them but it is a 20% restocking fee AND we have to pay for return shipping.

Don’t waste your money. There are McDonald’s toys made of higher quality. The shutters I received are ALL warped to the extent there are gaps between the wall and shutter if I install. Shutter look terrible from the side and don’t match the texture of the front. I tried to return and the seller wants a 20% restocking fee and me responsible for shipping. Make sure of the color because they will not respond if you want to exchange for a different color. Light, flimsy plastic but kinda look like woodgrain from far away.

    • Weird color
We ordered white and it's a weird ivory - they are also smaller than they appear in the advertisement. Wanted to return but it's an 18% restocking fee and you have to pay for your own shipping. Ultimately, it's more money to return than keep and not use. WASTE OF MONEY, BUYER BEWARE!
