  • Highly recommend
Used this to get more space on my Switch lite. It’s so small, it’s really cute, the smallest SD card I’ve ever seen. Provides a lot of space.

  • I like the art on the card :)
I know that this is an internal SD card, so you don't really get to see the art that often. But even so, I purposely bought this one because of the design. It made me smile. :) Who would have thought that art on an internal SD card would be the deciding factor in which card to buy? Thank you Mixza.

  • Works Great for Nintendo Switch 1st, 2nd & Lite!
Between my girlfriend and I and our kids, we have purchased four of these now for our switches, and they work great! My girlfriend has the 256 and a Switch Lite (Turquoise, if that matters) and has had for about 3 months with no problems. I have the 128 and a 2nd generation Switch (Animal Crossing Edition if that matters) and have had for about a month with not even a hitch in the giddy up. My daughter also has a 128 and a 1st generation Switch and has had for right around two years with zero issues. Almost a year ago we bought a 32 for my daughter’s best friend so he could download Diablo 3 and they could play together during the pandemic. As far as I know, it’s still going strong. They’re still playing. My girlfriend bought her kids the Nintendo branded ones a couple of years ago (128 & 256), thinking they would be higher quality and would stand up better… well, they cost more, and they have Nintendo characters on them instead of sharks, but that’s the only difference I’ve seen. *Bonus: We got her 256 on sale, so it was under $30 at the time. 100% worth it! ... show more

  • Finally got it to work on the Nintendo Switch after some hassle (Macbook Pro)
I wanted to replace my Sandisk 128GB Micro SD card with a micro SD card that had more space. This 512GB Micro SD card fit the bill. I thought it would be as simple to transfer my data from the 128GB card to the 512GB card, but not so, at least with a Macbook Pro and my experience. For anyone using a Mac, this could possibly save you some hassle. Initially, I completely powered off the Nintendo Switch (not sleep mode, TURN IT OFF), took out the 128GB Micro SD card and copied the Nintendo Folder to my Macbook Pro desktop (just to find it easy). After it copied to the Mac, I THOUGHT it would be as simple as just copy/pasting the folder to the new 512GB Micro SD card, popping it back into the Switch and going from there. NOPE. Turns out that whenever I did that, the Switch gave me an "cannot detect Micro SD card" message. The ONLY way to fix that was to....format the 512GB memory card....the one I JUST moved everything to....meaning that it was going to wipe itself clean in order to do it. Okay, cool. Good news? At least the Switch recognizes the new 512 Micro SD card at all. Bad news....my data is still stuck on both my old 128GB card (I hadn't deleted it yet thankfully) and copied on my laptop, but not on the new memory card where I wanted it. So....I tried it again. Deleted the folder that the Switch put on the new 512GB card, copy/pasted the one I had on my laptop back onto the new 512GB card.....same error message once I put it back into the switch....then I had to format it AGAIN. I could tell a pattern was forming and I got somewhat smart about it this time. Third time's the charm they say. THIS time after the Nintendo Switch formatted the new card, I inserted it back into my Macbook Pro, intending on copying my Nintendo folder on my desktop again. However, this time, instead of trying to move the entire folder at once, I just opened the Nintendo folder located on my Macbook Pro (the one I copied earlier from the 128GB Micro SD card), and copied the CONTENT in each of the subfolders after opening the main Nintendo one (for example, opening the Nintendo folder, the first thing listed is "Albums". I opened "Albums" and copy/pasted EVERYTHING from THAT "ALBUMS" folder to the one located on my "Albums" folder in the Nintendo folder on the now properly formatted 512GB card. I did the same thing for "Registered" and "Saves" too. THAT finally fixed the problem. For whatever reason, the 512GB memory card wasn't recognizing the Nintendo folder when I copy/pasted the thing and moved it over all at once. I had to copy/paste each folder within a folder and move them that way in order for it all to work. So, long story short, to save Mac users some hassle, put the new memory card in the Switch system FIRST, let it format it properly, and THEN copy/paste the CONTENTS of the folders off old card (after copying it to your computer) INTO each respective folder. That should allow the card to recognize all of your stuff (so you won't have to redownload EVERYTHING). Hopefully, this will save some people some time if they own a Mac (assuming this is a Mac related issue, I'm honestly not sure) but I finally got the thing to work properly on my Switch and I'm immensely happy. I'd give the product a 4.5./5 stars if Amazon would let me. Half a star off for all of this unwarranted hassle. But the product alone is exactly what I needed for my Switch. I own a mix of physical and digital copies of games and was in danger of running out of space. This card will help with that! Thanks! Overall, very satisfied with my purchase! EDIT: Upon further use, for the life of me, I couldn't get any sort of screenshots from video games to save to this Micro SD card. Kept getting a "Could not save" screenshot error every time. Thankfully, I still had all of my stuff still saved on my old Micro SD card (I'm just paranoid that way) just in case something happened with this one. This could very well be either a defective or a fake SD card because my old one has no issues whatsoever (other than not enough space at 128GB). Will be returning this one and buying a 512GB Sandisk Micro SD card instead for my Switch. I'm happy I'm within the return window at least or else I could have been out of nearly $70. If you're buying this for Nintendo Switch use, be sure to check and see that EVERYTHING is functioning properly with it. ... show more
