I love paper towels, I use them every day for just about everything - we all do. And we buy them by the case. When I saw these, I wasn't expecting a whole lot, I just need some lint free rags or cloth to clean windows, mirrors and other surfaces where lint will show easily. They got here, I opened up the package and to my surprise, these are NOT thin sheets like paper towels are - even the thick, expensive name brand paper towels don't come close to being thick like these are. They aren't bath towel kind of thick, but they are much thicker than paper towels. And, as advertised, these are lint free. They are large sheets, probably 12 x 12 (?). And they aren't just disposable or throw away - these are beefy. They stand up to scrubbing that would disintegrate any paper towel. They leave zero lint behind, even on our glass top stove. AND, they really are washable. I will still need paper towels, they're always going to be my go to when I want to wipe something messy up because I can just toss them when I'm done. But these cloths are an amazing replacement in the kitchen for paper towels. The glass top on the stove, the microwave front, the oven glass door and the SS appliances all need to be wiped several times a day. Previously, I would use paper towels for those jobs. Now, I can use the same microfiber cloth for several times, if not all day long before I throw it into the washer. The absorbency is really impressive! And we are using far less paper towels, which means we are being far more environmentally responsible. It also means that we are spending a lot less money on paper towels, and those things are expensive. The microfiber works BETTER than the paper towels for many uses. The description also suggested using the cloths on the disposable floor mops - I'm going to have to try that out and see how it works. I will keep those cloths in the mop closet since they will be used on floors. And with 75 cloths on the roll, these are going to last us a l-o-n-g time. I really wish someone had invented these years ago, it's a brilliant idea and an awesome product!

This is a ginormous roll of 75 microfiber towels. Each one tears from the roll easily. I side of the towel is zig-zag textured & the other is just plain, no texture (like terry). I tested one out by cleaning the bathroom mirror. While it did clean quite well, it was NOT lint-free. I took another towel from the roll to thoroughly dry the mirror & it left lint ALL OVER it. I was scared at first, because it looked like it put a bunch of tiny scratches all over my expensive mirror, but when I got my all cotton towel out to clean it off, I was (somewhat) relieved to find that it was just lint. Bummed that these aren’t lint-free, but happy my mirror isn’t ruined. So, I like the absorbency of these towels & they clean fairly well, but I definitely will not be using them on my mirror or windows - WAY too much lint for that.

I've used microfiber towels for years, and paper towels my whole life. These towels bridge the gap between them nicely. They will last much longer than a paper towel and can be washed and reused. But if they're too nasty or get worn, you can toss it in the trash without too much guilt. You have a whole roll of them on the shelf! They are soft and are strong enough to hold up to scrubbing and hard usage. I keep one beside the sink to blot water from my eyeglasses after washing them with soap (they get greasy really easily). My optometrist told me not to rub my glasses with microfiber, as it's more abrasive than people realize for something as delicate as eyeglasses, but they work great as a blotter to soak up the water droplets. They are more heavy-duty than the blue shop paper towels I use at my workbench. This is a large roll that will last you a long time.

This big roll contained 75 microfiber cloths. I was expecting a lightweight cloth, but this is closer to what I would consider a medium weight. The perforations worked properly to separate the towels from the roll. These are definitely a good potential alternative to using paper towels for many uses. They wash out well and seem like they’re going to last for a while. I tend to use microfiber cloths for less grungy tasks and paper towels for the tasks where I don’t want to get my microfiber cloths stained or greasy. These feel like a nice in between version in that they basically do everything that my microfiber cloth would do, but I don’t feel like I need to make the cloth last for years. If one of the square towels from this roll ends up getting greasy or grimy and starts to look a little gross rather than washing out perfectly, it’s not going to be the end of the world to tear off a new one and toss the old one. As an artist, I really like these to use for blotting brushes when I’m using permanent ink or acrylic paint. They wash out fine for multiple repeated uses and I really don’t care if color stains build up on them over time. I am really pleased to have a product like this for cleanup rags that fit into the “use for quite a while, but not forever” category and they will replace almost all of my paper towel use.
