Description

Microblend Interior Paint & Primer is a one coat, water-based acrylic resin paint designed for use on walls, ceilings, trim, window frames, drywall, wood and previously painted/primed metal. Our proprietary formula dries hard, resists stains and burnishing while remaining washable and scrubbable. Microblend paint can be sprayed, rolled, and brushed; self-leveling additives encourage an even finish.Microblend is the only on-demand paint manufacturer in the world. When your order is received, our Automated Paint Machine dispenses a mix of our proprietary raw ingredient slurries, water, liquids, additives, colorants and acrylic resins directly into an empty bucket. Once shaken the ingredients transform into fresh paint. Every bucket is tested with a spectrophotometer ensuring incredibly consistent color, bucket to bucket, order to order for perfectly matched walls and touch-ups. Yes it goes on well. No one coat does not cover, especially over white...it streaks and takes several coats to be a solid blue. It is not even remotely close to the color shown in the pictures above. There is nothing turquoise or color shifting like the example above. It's a dark blue, similar to what you would use for the flag. It is shiny as stated. It's just the wrong darn color. I kept thinking when it dried it would look more like the picture shown...nope. I've been working on this project for a couple weeks. Looks like I get new paint after I strip this back off...I'm Not Happy! ... show more

The color is not how it looks on the picture its more of a really bright blue more like a sonic the hedgehog blue.

I used this product on a small bookcase. The colour was unfortunately very bright and quite the same as royal blue. The colour depicted is a deep marine blue and is world's away from the reality of the paint. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with this brand paint. This color is bold, but not cartoonish. It has a good consistency and is silky. It smears pretty easily as it gets tacky, so a roller on larger projects or a mister bottle if you are brushing is good.

One quart did one Adirondack chair and I did different colors for each chair. Love the application of this paint. The wood was dry on the chairs before and this water base paint soaked up lovely onto the wood. I was able to go over spots to get an even coat as it dried rather quickly, so one coat will probably do. I came back for more for a future second coat. I was going to cancel the order because I didn’t want to wait the length of time they finally quoted me. It turned out that they moved the delivery day up a bit so I accepted it. The color was gorgeous and it covered my shutters well, but did seem a bit thin. It was an exterior latex.
