  • Runs a little warm. Need a good AIO
The media could not be loaded. Nice packaging. Solid bundle that should keep up with demanding games for years. Paired this with a 3080 and it's been very stable. motherboard itself is very attractive and nicely laid out. CPU runs a bit hot , but get a good AIO and it's blazing fast. Very happy with this build ... show more

  • Powerful motherboard, finicky controls
This is a potent motherboard with a ton of options. Which is probably why it was such a pain to install. I had a LOT of integration issues with the graphics card and other components. Lots of Q-code "99" SuperIO Initialization errors. I finally figured out that the graphics card could not run in the primary PCIe slot. I had to move it to the secondary slot. Also, this motherboard does not include a TPM, which means you cannot install Windows 11 on it. You must buy a separate TPM, and that costs about $30. The location of the memory is also annoying, since it sits right up against the cpu cooling tower. Do not get "tall" memory for this motherboard if you have a large CPU cooler. It won't fit. ASUS makes good motherboards, and they can do a lot. I consider myself a savvy computer builder, and this was one of the more difficult motherboards to work with. ... show more

  • Crashes all the time.
I had the i7-8700K with an ASUS motherboard for years without any issues. Now I wish I kept it. Don’t know why I “upgraded”. I am not doing much on my computer. I did a fresh Windows 10 install when I got this new hardware. My computer just freezes and doesn’t let me do anything. I have to force it off. I tried Windows 11 as well and get the same issue. On my 8th gen platform I used to be able to stream movies on one screen and work and program on the other without any struggle. That shouldn’t even be a problem for a 10 year old computer. Now my computer just can’t handle that same amount of work apparently. I don’t trust it. Wish I waited a little longer to try 12th gen instead ... show more

  • Gamers welcome to 2022 time for upgrades
The media could not be loaded. There’s nothing for me to say but good things this computer run’s so fast I’m in awe, I have a Lots of experience been upgrading and building computers for years back when DOS was the only operating systems for IBM. 2022 exceptional electronics are produced now! upgrading now is like playing with Lego’s so easy. To keep the cost down I used my old case and power supply . Back in the day we didn’t have reliable places to get computer parts and had to take chances nowadays with Amazon and their great return policy you can get everything you need delivered and if you don’t like it they will more than likely without hesitation give your money back you can’t go wrong upgrade now But a good word about this board and i9 chip I was hesitant but I’m so happy that I went ahead and purchased and installed just love it ... show more
