For context, I have bought the Tetris and pac man versions and won the game collection #1 with astroids, that they have taken off Amazon, at an arcade. These devices work great and since it is relatively small it can easily fit in your pocket, and that useless little pocket on top of the right pocket on jeans, case in point, they play the games great. However one complaint that seems common is that the clear plastic screen on front is easily scratched but it isn't a terrible problem as long as you don't have sharp nails or objects near it. ... show more

The game play is great, the size is as expected. The screen seems to be the wrong resolution as the shapes are sized wrong. its hard to tell the column due to resolution distortion. its like the pieces overlap a little but at the same time they do not overlap. its hard to describe… it seems like the pieces are streaching over pixels making the edges slightly distorted. ... show more

    • AWESOME GAME, but No High Score
I love this thing. I can see why it doesn’t save high score after turning it off because when you turn off a full size arcade game (cut the power) it wipes the memory. Id still love to see my initials when I get a new high score.

    • Retrofuturist nostalgia? Maybe?
This game gives a very specific feeling to me. When I was a kid those Tiger Electronic games were a thing and this has the feeling of...what, at the age of six or seven, I would have imagined that that sort of game would be like in the future. It has that combination of modern yet wildly dated that is perfect for someone like me. The aesthetic, with showing the electronics directly through the clear case and having clicky little buttons, is also immensely satisfying. The reason I'm docking a star is due to the difficulty of the game itself. Admittedly I've played a lot of Tetris (mainly NES and the Tetris the Grand Master series) and the difficulty tops out way too quickly. It doesn't even get into 1g territory (put in terms of 60 fps, though this probably isn't going at 60), let alone 20g (I'd have given five stars for 1g but 20g, especially with decreasing lock delay, would have put this so far over the top I'd have started crying tears joy while playing). Also, it doesn't save your high scores, which is a bit depressing, but a counterstop wouldn't be hard if you're pretty good at Tetris anyway. I'm still glad I bought it and will be taking it out on the subway on a regular basis. ... show more
