The silicone tip just popped out. They stick and do not smoothly apply makeup. I would not recommend this product. I was disappointed.

Please be aware that these are SILICONE brushes. Yes, it can be a little confusing because one part of the description states “The elastic silicone bristles...” and the word “bristles” can be a little misleading. But, there are a good amount of product photos and many close ups provided on the product page, so you can see that these are the flat, silicone spatula type brushes of different sizes. These do not have bristles. They aren’t the typical “brush” you’d expect when you see the word brushes. They have flat silicone heads. I like this set because it comes with silicone brushes of different sizes and shapes. Usually when I’ve gotten silicone brushes, they are just ones like the large flat one that comes in this set. So I love this included smaller ones. There is the large one. The top has angled sides and the middle has a slight point. This works great if you want to use it to apply foundation onto your face before blending it with your sponge or brush. Usually I’ll take Foundation on my finger and swipe it in spots on my face and then blend it in with my brush or sponge. I like using this brush instead of my finger! It also works great to apply face masks, like a mud mask, so I don’t get the mask all over my hands. It works great! There’s 2 smaller ones that have rounded heads. These work great if you want to apply product like a concealer or color corrector under your eyes before blending it out with your sponge or brush. I like using it when I’m using a pot concealer or a color corrector that’s in a jar or palette. I pick some up with the tip of the brush and swipe it under my eyes, then take my sponge or brush and blend it out. Again, I like it a lot better than using my finger. I also really like using this brush to apply glitter glue to my eyes before using a shimmer/metallic eyeshadow or glitter. It also works great to mix a pigment with a pigment mixer and then apply it to my eyes! There’s a thin pointed one. This applies liner well. If you have a pot gel liner it works nicely or if your using a water activated liner it works great for that! Finally, there’s an angled one. This works great to apply brow pomade, liner, etc. These might seem like they’d be hard since they’re silicone but they’re soft and not scratchy at all. They’re really durable too! Other silicone brushes like these that I’ve had, sometimes the silicone head will come out really easy. These ones stay in well and don’t feel loose at all. They’re also soooo easy to clean! Overall, I think this is a great set of silicone brushes! As long as you look at the product photos and see you’re getting SILICONE brushes and there’s no bristles, I don’t see how you’d be disappointed with this set!

Ok, so, I was totally mistaken when I ordered these items. These are not brushes - I can best describe them as spatulas. They're small, solid, flat pieces of silicon. I think I was confused by the references to "bristles." Having received them, I can tell now that the photos are each of a solid piece of silicon, rather than a lovely mass of bristles as I originally thought. I was looking forward to receiving some nice brushes, made from the same material as my silicon-based massage brushes with those nice flexible bristles (they feel so nice on my skin, I look forward to using them). Definitely not brushes with bristles. They might be good for picking up and initially applying liquid makeup, and spading away; but not for the brush-type blending with an easy-to-clean brush I was hoping for.

I use these for alcohol ink and gouache in my artwork. They were quite well for this and are easy to clean up afterwards.
