This queen fitted sheet is WONDERFUL! Whenever I buy a sheet SET, my husband wears down the bottom of fitted sheet with his toenails (I know...TMI!). However, I don't like having to get an entire new sheet set when I only need a fitted sheet. Most stores no longer carry single sheets. I was so pleased to find this California Design fitted sheet. The quality of this was excellent. It was shipped beautifully and there were no bad chemical odors when I opened the box. I washed this in lukewarm water and dried on low setting. It is wrinkle resistant and the sheet fit perfectly. I loved the 360 degree elastic and I have never seen this in any store. This helps keep the fitted sheet tucked in. The appearance and quality were great! The weight was perfect and the sheet is very comfortable and soft. I would not hesitate to get all my sheets from this company. I highly recommend this to everyone!

These are nice, comfortable lightweight cotton that we use year-round. They don’t wrinkle horribly & fit a deep, TempurPedic mattress. They are an okay value on sale or as an open package buy. The white ones will stain yellow if you have the body PH that does that to sheets, so wash often if so. They are not water resistant-use a terry cloth waterproof cover underneath. A nice, basic sheet, especially in summer-I sleep comfortably & don’t itch. Nice that they sell the fitted sheet separately so you purchase just that to continue using your sheet set after the fitted sheet wears out-the white matches everything.

I only learned the difference between microfiber and cotton sheets 6 years ago because microfiber was more affordable for us. Once I tried cotton, I have never gone back. Yes, it’s more expensive but it’s worth it for the comfort and they last. They’re soft but more importantly they’re cool, you’re not sweating all over these sheets every night. They’re deep enough to where we have to tuck in the rest of the sheet on all corners but that’s really not a problem. I used to buy the comparable Target Threshold sheets as they sell just the sheet. They’re the same feel and look as California Design but this brand offers a variety of colors. This was a big selling point for me because while I’m 36, not super young but certainly not old either, I love bold pretty colors that aren’t boring neutral. Better quality sheets in stores come in 3 shades of white, gray, blue, and a pattern. That’s it. I don’t know if companies think the older you get, the less color you want but that is very not true. Maybe it used to be, but things, younger generations, are different. People my age and younger want variety and choice because it’s always been there and always want to know it’s there. So if a brand offers different shades of blue, green, purple, and red, I will be back to buy more colors as opposed to buying 1 gray and then might buy again if it’s ever on a good sale. This is why I’ll be back for more of this brand. Great quality, affordable, and pretty colors.

I bought the queen Set 1000 TC, the full flat sheet 400TC and the queen fitted sheet 400 TC. I'd give the queen set 1000 TC a 5 stars. The sheets are the highest quality and weight compared to even Hotel sheets I bought years ago when they were top notch. Most sheets advertise thread counts that are false. These sheets are the real deal and you can tell just holding them because they are heavy. I have a platform queen bed. My mattress is 7 inches high and, with a topper and mattress pad, the total height is almost 11 inches. The queen flat sheet hung too low on the sides (I don't tuck in on the sides because it's too difficult with a wood platform bed). So, I bought the full flat sheet separately. It is 400 TC and a lot thinner. I'd call it a summer sheet. I have a lightweight textured blanket and I can feel the texture of the blanket against my skin because the flat sheet is thin. Nevertheless, the sheet is silky soft. It works well on my platform bed and does not hang down on the sides too far. Previously, I bought two different fitted sheet sets with 12 inch pockets and both shrank so much after washing and drying that I couldn’t get them on the bed. These California Design Den fitted sheets have a pocket dart of 14-1/2 inches. I put it on the bed right out of the package and it was very loose. It’s designed to fit mattresses up to 18.” I washed the sheet in warm water and dried it on permanent press setting. It fit better but was still too loose. Next, I washed and dried it on “hot” settings although my washer and dryer don’t ever get hot – they get only medium warm. The sheet shrank some more and fit better but was still loose so not a great fit for my mattress but tolerable. Even though the sheets shrank, there’s still a lot of excess fabric on the sides. I tried to tuck the sides under the mattress but I have a platform bed and it’s difficult to tuck the sheet under the mattress without bruising my fingers on the wood frame. The 3” topper does compress slightly when the corners are in place. Even when shrunk, I don’t think this fitted sheet would fit a mattress smaller than 10-1/2 inches but perhaps the sheet will shrink a bit more with repeated drying (or if dried in a truly hot dryer). The sheet is very soft (not a sateen feel) and a tad thinner than I would like but, for the low cost, you are getting a deal. So, for the 1000 TC sheets, I rate them 5 stars. For the 400TC sheets, I rate them 3.5 stars because of the thinness.

The color is a true charcoal gray, which I appreciated since so many "dark gray" options online read more as light gray or blue-gray in person. Deep pocket fit works as advertised. Would buy again.
