This is my fourth Michael Kors Bedford bag, the first black leather one. This bag fits all my needs; smart, formal or casual, will even hold an eleven inch MacBook Air. I love this bag. My only criticism is that MK keep on slightly changing the design and not for the better. The first change was the inside full length pocket which would hold documents folded in half. Now it is divided into two smaller pockets. The other thoughtless change was the way the shoulder straps are buckled to the bag. The ends of the straps used to be buckled downwards, flush to the bag. Now they are buckled with the strap ends pointing upwards so they are sticking out and catching on things. Silly really, change for the sake of change: If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.     • This is not leather
I just received my Michael Kors Bedford tote. The style is really cute and I like all the inside and outside pockets and the quality of the hardware, but I am very disappointed that the description says leather when in fact it appears to be PU leather which is a plastic and not leather at all. If I am paying $200 it won't be for PU leather. The pebbling is uneven at the seams. There is probably no doubt it is Michael Kors, but not what I thought I was buying .
