The bag is sturdy and I feel should hold up well. I was thinking that it would be a bit smaller and initially I was thinking to send it back but decided to make it work and now that I have used it for about a week, I think I will actually like the size of it as it definitely has more room than the Fossil backpack purse that I loved and have been using for several years. I wanted to replace it though due to zippers no longer working. I hope that this bag will last me as long as the Fossil bag. As I said, it seems pretty sturdy so am hopeful that it will.

UPDATE: I CONTACTED AMAZON AND THEY REPLACED MY PURSE WITH NO PROBLEM. I RECIEVED THE NEW ONE IN THE MAIL IN 2 DAYS AND I AM SUPER HAPPY!!! I was super excited to get this purse in the mail only to open up the "bag" and notice there is huge slice right down the front of the purse. It's super noticeable and I'm not to happy about it. These purses need to be packaged up a little different. Its definitely a box cutter that sliced it.
