Description

Sealed with LEAK-PROOF CAPS These modern leak-proof caps eliminate the need of the classic paper/plastic seals that can detach from the bottle neck due to the monomer chemical composition. Caps made of industrial-grade highly rigid plastic, molds itself around the sealing areas as the cap is screwed on, virtually eliminating leakage, evaporation, contamination, and forming an exceptionally tight seal. The conical shape of these caps provides an excellent seal across the top of the container and seals across the inside diameter.

  • This still smells but normal monomer is 1000 times worse!!!
The media could not be loaded. So as stated, this product does have a smell, however this is a GREAT alternative for people who do their nails at home because you don't need to do all of the same tricks to conceal the smell like you need to do with EMA monomer. With this I can do my nails with a normal damping dish and my nail room door open, and the smell will not leave the room. If you were to be doing someone else's nails, this will certainly bother them less and if you lit some incense then I am sure they'd barely notice the smell. I have a video attached that I happened to have saved of a set I did with this liquid. A couple notes, you CANNOT leave this out in a dish near your lamp while it is on, as long as it is about a foot away you will not have any problems. Second: Colored acrylics take longer to cure with this liquid, take special attention not to do layers that are too thick on the nail bed if you are using a dark color, or else the bottom will not cure properly (and your nails will pop off) ... show more

  • VERY GOOD. Learn how to use it. UV CURING REQUIRED.
This Monomer is odor free friendly . There is a slight smell like all chemicals but nothing overbearing . This monomer needs UV light cure. That is why it’s “squishy” after application. It hardens by UV light . All the negative comments because you all are clearly new to acrylic needs to stop on this product. This is the only product that doesn’t smell insane and does a phenomenal job. I would hate for it to go out of market. ... show more

  • Terrible product! Extremely disappointed.
I got this because I needed something that didn't stink up the house like the regular stuff does. It is NOT odorless! The smell isn't nearly as strong, as no one in the house could smell anything while I did my nails. That's the only good thing about this stuff... First, not knowing, I put my hand under my UV light to dry, and within 3 seconds it started to burn!! So I realized no UV light, even though the bottle says "UV." It takes extremely long to dry on its own. Also very difficult to mold because it didn't want to dry. I finished applying to my second hand, and began to file the first hand. Only the first 2 nails I had done were almost dry. The rest started peeling and shedding like rubber. The acrylic applied to my thumbnail completely peeled off. I had to fix it with the good stuff. Hours later, and I'm talking the next morning, there are still soft spots on some nails... Almost squishy like. Nails don't feel strong, and actually feel like they might only last about a week. I usually go a month before needing to do my nails. This stuff was extremely disappointing!! ... show more

  • My go to!
First off: YOU NEED A UV/LED LAMP! If you do not have one, get one. Second you need at least a 36 watt lamp to complete curing. If you leave it to try and dry without a lamp, you will be waiting for a long time…about an hour. Important info: this is a UV/LED ODORLESS monomer. What this means is the there is no alcohol or drying ingredient used in this product. It is oil based. That also means you have a lot of time to play with it ( if you do acrylic nails, then you know what I mean). You also really have to watch your liquid to powder ratio. For normal monomers this ratio is normally 1:1, but for this monomer the ratio is 1:2. USE LESS MONOMER! You will know the ratio is correct when your bead looks dry, but when placed it moistens and starts to settle on it’s own. This is exactly what you want because it is starting its work without much effort on your part. Keep your beads dry. Too wet of a bead will make the acrylic run and the end result is weak nail sets. And they will break. Pat the acrylic into place, IF your placed bead is sticking to the brush, dry your brush and pat again. Practice will make all the difference in how much you enjoy using this monomer. There is a heat spike, it can’t be helped due to the UV/LED monomer. If you have a light tolerance to minor pain, do not use this product. But, if like me you know beauty is pain 😂, you can bear about 10 to 25 seconds of heat. If you are still hesitant, try flash curing in 10 second intervals for a total of 30 seconds until the heat dissipates. Then follow with a normal 1 minute cure. Full disclosure: I am a licensed cosmetologist meaning I am licensed already as a nail technician. I know my liquid to powder ratio to a T. I STRUGGLED with regular monomers for a while until I got it right. Even with the light as an added step I can do both of my own hands in 45 minutes. It took me 4 hours before ( I’m a perfectionist, it can be to my own detriment sometimes) and I was super slow. And this is on MYSELF! 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ So you see the time difference 😂 I also noticed that I had less filing to do after. Application was so smooth, that my nails looked like I could go straight to painting. Of course I filed, but I knocked about 15 minutes off of my time. If you use an E- File it would be even faster. I like to hand file. This product got 4 stars because a beginner really does need to learn with regular monomer. Getting the liquid to powder ratio right with consistency will help a beginner understand how much less of THIS monomer to use. Because of this fact. I think beginners should not attempt to use this until they get the basics down. Last: it works with ALL acrylic powders! My go to is Mia Secrets Clear acrylic powder. They work beautifully together. I did a colored acrylic set on my daughter in black and it cured perfectly. If you are experienced with doing acrylic on YOUR NAILS, and you want to cut out the dry time, buy this monomer. I bought this last year and I still have 3/4 of a bottle left! But when this one gets lower I will be getting more. 👍🏽👏🏽🥰 ... show more

  • doesnt smell but
okay as a beginner that was using Mia secrets regular monomer this doesn't have a odor unless your nose is right next to the bottle opened up, it has a sweet smell. you can pick up a bead. but honestly it never seems like you got your liquid to powder ratio down so I don't recommend this for beginners trying to perfect the ratio. this feels like your working with water, and takes longer than a few mins to dry. the UV light helps cure faster. but does take longer to try with out. I'm no scientist but I ended up adding a couple of drops of my regular into my dish with it and it seems to be a bit more manageable for me to do my 3 bead method. felt like I would swipe off the first layer when I go in with more. HONESTLY NOT SURE WHY ITS SO MUCH MONEY. But I felt like I had to get it to practice at home. ... show more
