Bought these for nursing school and I am very satisfied. I own many different New Balance shoes and they're always comfortable, high quality, and a great fit. I was initially tempted by the more expensive and flashy brands but I'm glad I went with these. These shoes are very supportive and are great for people who spend a lot of time on their feet. Stands up to heavy and abuse use for about one year (20,000 steps a day, squatting/rising on toes, kicking cinderblocks). Comfortable for 8+ hours walking on concrete, medium weight, good traction on all surfaces. Most of the shoe repels water (the tongue does not).
