Description

Reed fences are inexpensive bamboo-like coverings for existing fences, walls, or screens. Reed fences are commonly used to cover chain link fences. Our exclusively designed reed fencing is a wonderful and natural addition to your home and garden. We use only clean polished reeds woven together with black nylon coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with the husk. This fence has an opacity of about 85 percent, but can be doubled making it totally opaque. 4'H x 14'L

My husband and I got back from a trip to Hawaii and wanted to keep the island spirit alive on our patio. This screen was so easy to use and looks incredible! We didn't really need it for privacy, but it does give us a few extra inches of screen above our half wall, so that's an extra bonus! I bought this to line our front yard fenced in area for the summer, as we had a blow up pool, friends over, dogs and kids playing, and the iron fence we have does not offer hardly any privacy from the super busy street we live on!! From the street it looks more dense and hard to see but surprisingly on our side, we can see through it, which is ideal!!! We used dark brown zip ties to adhere it to the fence already grounded and sturdy so had no issues with it BUT if you do not have a sturdy fence to line it with I can see it being harder to stand on it's own. I purchased three Natural Reed fences to place it on my wood fence for added privacy. I first purchased one and was very satisfied with it, easy to install and good quality. I then I ordered 2 more, but the quality of the material was not as good as the first one. I would give the 1st fence I ordered 5 stars and the latter ones 2.5 stars. ... show more

I knew what I was buying but it was still a shock to see how straw like and thin this stuff is. I was hoping it would be more sturdy like those bamboo sticks used for growing beans (see pic 2) but alas. As other reviewers have said one layer is pretty see-through but doubling up gives a better effect (pic 1). Pic 3 shows you how thin it is. We’re only trying to cover the chain link fence rather than need it for full privacy but it does the job. Pic 4 shows how different it is from real bamboo fencing ha! Overall it’s ok. We tied ours to the fence with cable ties but who knows how long it’ll last! I’m begrudgingly going to buy another one to double up the fence but I don’t think they should be priced at $48!! It’s pretty much just straw. But if you’re looking for the straw / Hawaiian party vibe then this is the stuff for you! Also Amazon these could’ve easily been shipped in 1 box, not 4! ... show more

Makes my pool a tropical oasis instead of an eyesore! Easy to install with zip ties. Pretty shear but can not really see the writing on the side of the side of the pool.
