I am really enjoying this controller. It's small like the rtr ones but they added the base. I'm an old school racer so the base just feels right. It has decent range and it's intuitive where if you are comfortable with multi receiver radios you won't need instructions. Quality is definitely there and for the the money you spend I think you get a good value. *For the money, not sure you can get a better transmitter. I haven't really teated out any distance yet but it has worked well for my crawlers and my washers. Easy interface, easy to read screen. Tonnes of adjustments. Takes multiple battery types. Don't know why but I have 2 of them
