I usually put boxes in my mailers & tape them up. Never in the thousands of mailers that I've bought did I ever have any of them rip from putting a box inside. Every single bag I've tried to use has ripped. Sooo easily too. The box I put in the mail is not too big too. In fact, I usually tape up the bag so its form fitting the box inside. In this case, the tape actually is the only thing making the mailers safe. I gave 2 Stars & not 1 because they could be useful for other purposes. I do love the matte black. Maybe someone else would like them for other purposes. I just wouldn't trust them for mailing anything heavier than a t-shirt. You get what you paid for.

Amazon needs to check their items before boxing them. I am 100% sure this damage didn't happen during the delivery to me as the box arrived In perfect shape. None of the other items that I ordered could have possibly stabbed the bags. About half of the bags in the package have a hole in them since it was stabbed by something really sharp in the warehouse. I'm extremely disappointed in Amazon care and inspection on the product before packaging it. As far as the bags, I can't say they are thick or reinforced. But it will definitely do the job. They remind me of trash bags. The value is great though. For the price, it is a really good buy. The size 14.5 by 19 is perfect if you're shipping a jacket or even a box of shoes. If you're shipping something smaller then you can just easily fold the bag.

These are not your average poly mailers. They’re super super thin and made of a different material. You’d think by feeling them that they would be horrible and not at all durable, but I’ve found them to be MORE durable than the typical poly mailers after some testing. Overall great product, just an odd material and thickness.

I needed very large mailers. These were priced right and I liked that they were black since most others are just white. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are super thin and not really durable. So I can't really use them to ship something by itself- but I can use them to put a box in it and then ship it. Even though they are very thin, I would buy them again as long as I need to use them to put a box in it. But I would be looking for something thicker to send things by themselves.

I'm really surprised at the high ratings these bags have. I guess their low price point matches their low quality. It took barely any pressure to pop my thumb right through (no fingernail). I put a box inside the polybag and put a small amount of pressure against the corner, and it easily ripped through. I will try to return these.... way too thin and flimsy for any durability. Maybe they would work for soft goods only, but I'd still be concerned with ripping.

It’s not bad at all. I had a gift card so I decided to get this one. I like the sleek look of the black packaging but warning, it is a little flimsy. Although the package feels flimsy and weak, when I tried to tear it apart with my hands it did not tear. I think the people that rated this item and said it was weak, did not try ripping it with force. It’s pretty good!!!

It’s hard to get a better bang for your buck if you’re gonna be shipping a lot of clothing items or small flat packages. I love how compact they are the store very easily and it will take some time to get them used up if you’re doing online sales
