This is a really awesome collector’s item for anyone who loves Metroid games. The Steelbook is great looking and, I’m sure, is an awesome display item. It also comes with the typical plastic case for anyone that’s curious. The book has amazing behind-the-scenes concept art from not just Metroid Dread, but from the past four games as well—though about one-third to a half of the book focuses on Dread. The cards that feature the box set for the five 2D Metroid games are holographic, and while I haven’t really thought of what to do with them, they could look pretty cool in picture frames on the wall. The box that all of the items come in is rather big, and though I’ve seen people record themselves open it, it still surprised me how big it was when it arrived. It is also very durable and came in a plastic sheet to cover and protect the whole thing, making the box a great display item as well. While I still have not yet played the game, I know I will enjoy it. Overall, this was a great buy in my mind. A sky-high 5/5 for sure!

The game arrived quickly and was packaged very safely inside the box; there were no dents and scratches on it at all! It shipped from the UK, and got to the US just fine. It also had a plastic box sleeve around it to prevent other damage. Quality-wise the special edition is amazing! It comes with the standard Metroid Dread game, a steel book, 5 holographic art cards, and an art book. One thing to note is that the box is pretty big; the art book is at the very bottom of the box (It comes separately wrapped so it’s up to you to take it off or not) and is covered by the game, steel book, and cards on top. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any Metroid Dread fans or video game collectors!

Love the book and the art work. The game is hard for me right now. Haven't played any games in a while, so out of practice. Still happy to have it in my Metroids collection.

I ordered this item as birthday gift for my son. They used standard art and did not mention anywhere was european version. Will return...totally disappointed.
