I just completed Metroid Dread for the third time, And buying & using the Samus amiibo to get a full energy take at the beginning of the game, by scanning the amiibo, makes a big difference in the game play, Because there was more then one boss battle that ended with victory & my energy tank being down to less the one, which means without the extra energy tank from the amiibo scan, I would have lost & needed to repeat mission. there are online maps you can use to help to find everything, but it can still be tricky, because there are some area you cannot enter until you get the right upgrade. I sometimes watch a YouTube Walkthrough video of a couple of minutes & pause it & copy what they did on the trick parts of the game play, like boss battles. There are still 5 items I could not get, because I cannot do the speed boost trick to reach them. It really annoys me that you get the most powerful suite & weapon upgrade during the final boss battle, but are only given enough time to escape to your ship to avoid a game over. Players like me wish we could turn off the planet destruction after reaching the ship, & then back track to get the 5 items we missed with the final upgrade, it would also be fun to easily defeat enemies with the final upgrade. I also think that for " Rookie Mode " they should make power bombs so they can destroy speed booster blocks, so Rookes that cannot do the speed booster trick, can use power bombs to get 100% item collection. Over all 85% of it is enjoyable to play & look at, 10% can be annoyingly trick, But 5% is impossible for me to do, because I cannot get 5 items. It reminds me a lot of a space aged version of Legends of Zelda, like collection energy tanks instead of hearts. After completing it for first time, you unlock boss rush mode, before the next time you play it, I recommend playing boss rush mode, to master the art of defeating bosses, so when you play it again, you can defeat them on the first try. I have now completed #1. Metroid #2. Return of Samus #3. Super Metroid #4. Metroid Fusion #5. Metroid Zero Mission #6 Metroid Other M & #7 Metroid Dread.
