I purchased three different water shoe options from the top rated sellers. My top choice and what I kept was the The Ziitop water shoes, for about $8 more than other options that cost about $10. The Ziitop water shoes are a next level improvement with design and provide excellent comfort and more stability with a more durable rubber sole that wraps around the bottom pad of the foot. The Ziitop water shoes have a removable in-sole foot bed that have a bit more pad and are designed in a way that likely absorbs less water. I could use any of the options as simple slippers when traveling to be in a hotel, or going to the pool. The Ziitop water shoes are a more durable solution. Other options are simple but have no support or stability, but just a pad on the bottom, standard simple removable foot-bed liner. Lower Cost options Very simple and comfortable water shoes. The removable foot-bed did not fit well, but did not impact the comfort when on my feet. Lower cost options included the Metog (This shoe review) water shoes that had better quality than the Fituur. Any could be used as simple travel slippers. The lower cost options are very small and packable. The material is like a lightweight wetsuit that allows air flow, but don’t expect a long life.

To start with an overview of the product, these shoes are quite convenient, they're easily portable(don't take much space at all), have solid bottoms to mitigate damage from stepping on sharp objects, and dry decently quickly, however the shoe is essentially a flat rubber sole held onto the foot by thin fabric. They aren't terribly uncomfortable to wear, but probably not the best option for walking long distances, and they aren't the most comfortable for biking. I purchased these water shoes because the rowing team I participate in practices on the bay and has no dock, so I needed something to protect my feet from the sharp shells and dead fish that cover the shoreline and shallows while walking the boat in. These shoes did quite well on that front, I was able to comfortably walk over all hazards (though I do recommend walking carefully, there isn't much protection on the sides of the shoes, only the soles). In addition, they strap perfectly into rowing shoes and the backs can be pulled up to prevent rubbing, which was rather nice. I'm overall pretty satisfied with these, however I will say that they get sand in them very easily and will track it elsewhere.

Got these for a backpacking trip and wanted to back very lightly. I was able to be in water with sharp/bumpy rocks, but probably would not have wanted this for treading for a prolonged period of time due to how thin the soles are. I appreciated how easily packable/foldable they are. If I had more space, I'd probably opt for something sturdier. I am a size 7 in women's and this fit for me without issues.

Most people buy these for being out on/in the water. I bought these to use as emergency shoes for when I go out with friends and need to take my heels off. 🙃 I've tried the "as-seen-on-tv" emergency slippers and whatnot over the years. While I appreciate the ingenuity of those, the shoes never seemed to fit comfortably, were ugly/loud, and almost always tore before I got home. I honestly don't know why I thought to try these out instead, but man am I glad I did! They fit in my purse, are fairly durable, and are comfy to boot! If the price point stays where it's at ($8-$10), I'll definitely be repurchasing later!

They are stylish, very light and comfortable. I got them as poolside shoes but found myself wearing them all over. The sole is soft rubber and very thin, providing no support. There is an insert but it was clumsy and didn't dry quickly so I removed them. Out of the pool or shower they dry very quickly and are easy to clean. As far as size goes, I feel these run slightly small but they still fit comfortably.

Held up really well for a week at vacation constantly in water; walked in concrete and diet with them too and the soles held up pretty good; only thing that bothered me was the little slip that goes inside the shoe kept moving up and down when i walked for a long time so I had to keep adjusting them or they would hurt my toes. Good for water, but not so much for walking long distances

Really comfortable water shoes, they don’t have much grip but for the price they are worth it. Bought them for a family vacation on the lake and they definitely served their purpose.
