I am a size 10 women’s shoe and the 9.5-10.5 fit a wee bit loose but I liked it that way. I do not have a wide foot. Initially I bought these to wear in the chlorinated pool for water aerobics 3 times per week but also use them for kayaking. They give me the firm sole to push into my kayak footer but are lightweight when I need to be in the water porting my kayak through low areas. The chlorine will do a number on these. I just ordered my third pair. I wore these 3-4 hours a week for 5 months plus 3 kayak trips. They do start to get a little fuzzy around the toes where I scrape them on the rough pool floor but the chlorine bleached the piping around the ankle opening and the integrity of the material was compromised. They began to lose their elasticity and stayed stretched. Today the shoes were coming off as I was kicking underwater - but I also had several little holes in my swimsuit - to give you an idea of how heavy the chlorine can be that I expose them too. Mine had an insert of foam-like padding that I could remove for drying or to have more flexibility in the pool but I personally don’t like the texture of the bottom of the shoe with the foam insert. These dry very quickly - usually in a few hours. I can pack them in the morning after being set out in the laundry room for about 12 hours. I’ve ordered another pair. I think 60-70 hours of pool time is well worth the $10.

These are great for beach days. I got these as gifts and everyone absolutely loved them. This is an inexpensive way to add to a gift set or bridal getaway gift. Something most don’t think about. It’s better than flip flops. And great for walking on the beach at night because you never know what is coming out in the dark!!! And critters do come out at night!

My experience with the Metog Men Women Water Shoes was a mixed bag, and I'd like to share some observations based on my usage. Pros: Lightweight and Breathable: These water shoes are incredibly lightweight, and they allow your feet to breathe. They are ideal for activities where you want to feel almost barefoot, like wading in the water or on hot summer days. Quick-Drying: The claim of being quick-drying is accurate. These shoes didn't hold onto moisture for long, which is convenient for water activities. Cons: Lack of Support: These shoes offer minimal support. If you're looking for arch support or cushioning, these aren't the shoes for you. They feel like a step up from going completely barefoot, but don't expect them to provide the comfort you'd get from more substantial footwear. Sand and Debris: The biggest issue I encountered with these shoes was their tendency to allow sand and small objects to easily get inside. Walking on a sandy beach or gravelly surfaces was often uncomfortable, as I had to stop and remove the shoes repeatedly to get rid of the debris. This became quite frustrating over time. Durability Concerns: Although they held up for the duration of my vacation, I have reservations about their long-term durability. Some seams showed signs of wear after just a week of use, which makes me question their longevity. Traction: On slippery surfaces, the traction provided by these shoes is subpar. I experienced a few slips and slides, especially when navigating wet, uneven terrain. In summary, the Metog Men Women Water Shoes are best suited for those seeking a lightweight, minimalistic option for water-related activities where support isn't a primary concern. They excel in breathability and quick drying. However, their tendency to allow sand and debris inside can be quite bothersome, and they lack the durability and traction you'd expect from more substantial water shoes. Consider these shoes if you prioritize the feeling of being almost barefoot, but be prepared to deal with the inconveniences of sand and limited support. I definitely won't choose to wear these again, but I'm not upset due to the low price.
