I recently ordered this Tivostaral Metal Storage Cabinet to add some secure, heavy-duty storage to my space. Overall, I’m really happy with how solid the final product is, but getting it put together took a bit of effort. Here is my breakdown of the experience: Packaging & First Impressions The cabinet arrived packed in a single, relatively heavy box. Everything was bundled tightly to protect the finish, and it even included a pair of white work gloves to protect your hands from sharp metal edges during assembly—a thoughtful touch that I highly appreciated. Assembly Process The box explicitly notes that assembly should be undertaken by at least two people, and I 100% agree with that recommendation. The Good: The pieces fit together well once you align them correctly, and the included instruction manual layout is fairly straightforward. The Bad: It is a lot of manual screwing and alignment. The box suggests using an electric screwdriver, and I would consider that a must-have if you want to save your wrists. Doing this completely with a hand tool would take a very long time. It took two of us working on the floor to properly hold the panels in place while securing the back and sides. Build Quality & Functionality Once fully assembled and stood upright, the cabinet feels incredibly sturdy. Finish: The matte black/dark gray finish looks sharp and modern. It doesn't look like cheap garage furniture; it holds its own nicely inside a room. Storage & Versatility: The interior features adjustable shelf tracks running up the sides, giving you plenty of options for customizing the shelf heights depending on what you are storing. Security: The double doors close flush, and the lock-and-key mechanism works smoothly. It comes with a set of keys, providing good peace of mind if you need to lock away tools, office supplies, or valuables. Final Verdict If you have an electric screwdriver, a helper, and about an hour of patience, you will end up with an excellent, lockable storage cabinet that feels built to last. Knocking off one star just because the assembly is a bit tedious, but the final product is definitely worth it!

What it is: A mid-sized metal storage cabinet with locking doors, adjustable shelves, and a matte black finish. At 31"W x 35"H x 15.5"D, it fits well in a garage, office, or utility space without taking up too much floor space. What it's good at: The build quality is noticeably solid. The 0.9mm reinforced steel has real weight to it — this doesn't flex or rattle like cheaper sheet metal cabinets. The 3-point locking system is smooth and secure, and the adjustable shelf tracks give you genuine flexibility depending on what you're storing. The matte black finish looks clean and professional. It also came with a pair of work gloves, which was a thoughtful touch for assembly. What didn't work: Assembly takes time and two sets of hands. There's a fair amount of manual screwing involved, and alignment can be finicky. An electric screwdriver is basically a requirement, not an option. Plan on at least an hour. Also, at 35" tall, it's a shorter cabinet — great for some spaces, but won't work if you need floor-to-ceiling storage. Who it's good for: Anyone who needs secure, organized storage in a garage, shop, or home office and wants something that actually feels durable. I needed a storage cabinet for odds and ends in my home gym. I was looking for something that was black, had a basic design, and that was large enough to hold things like gloves, towels, liquid chalk, and what not. When Amazon offered to send me this one to test and review, I wanted to check it out. I’m glad that I got it. This item arrived very well packaged and in good condition. It came with easy to follow instructions, as well as a really nice screwdriver that you need for assembly. I’m very handy, so I asked my daughter who’s less handy to assemble it and see how long it would take. She got it done in about 40 minutes. I think it probably would’ve taken me about half that time. All of the holes are pre-drilled and it mostly assembles with self tapping sheet metal screws. There are a couple of nuts, but only for the back. The doors open and close nicely. The cabinet is lockable as well. The finish appears to be powder coated, and quite durable. It included some magnets as well that you can use to post notes. Overall, I’m pleased with the quality, durability, functionality, and design of this product. I also think it’s reasonably priced in comparison to other items of similar quality that I’ve seen elsewhere.

I would say this is a pretty decent storage cabinet. It's not too small where I feel like it's not useful, and it's not too big where I feel like it gets in the way. I'm storing a hundred pounds or so on each shelf, and it's holding up just fine. I like that the shelves are adjustable, so it doesn't lock me into a certain specific height. The actual sides of these feel really well made. It doesn't feel like it's just flapping in the wind. My magnets stick to it perfectly, which is great because I'm a big magnet person. The lock is okay. Honestly, any kind of lock on these types of systems isn't going to be the best, but I think at this price point what you're getting is a really sturdy cabinet that provides a strong foundation for storage.

I was needed office storage space and when I saw this storage cabinet, I knew it would be perfect. It was super easy to assemble, and it did stated that you need two people to assemble it, but I did it by myself. Instructions were easy to follow and well-illustrated. The storage cabinet is bigger than I expected it to be, and I love that it came with a locking key. I can store away important documents since it does lock. This storage cabinet is very well made, heavy duty, and the black color gives it a more modern look. It fits perfectly in my office and I/m able to store away so much. Overall, this is great quality storage cabinet. I highly recommend it.
