The shelving can handle heavy objects, but the doors are made with such thin metal I could easily pull the locked doors open with very little effort so it's not secure at all. If you are worried about the safety of the contents of this cabinet buy something made with heavier gauge steel.

OI liked that the cabinet was easy to assemble. The condition was very good but there was a little damage to one of the channels on a side panel that I was able to straighten out during the assembly. I needed pantry storage for a very small kitchen. This cabinet in black with the silver accents couldn't have matched the kitchen/dining area any better! It is quite sturdy and has good loading capacity per shelf. It appears to be one of few selections that has magnetic door catches and doesn't require operating a handle to open and close the doors. All and all, I deem this one of the most gratifying purchases I've made in quite a long time.
