I think this would be a fun gift for a girl away at college. The lights are pretty, the design is nice and the price is right. It's not fabulous at putting out moisture but it works. I never have a lot of luck with adding essential oils but I think it does a reasonable job.

This is a cute little humidifier. I saw one of these on the desk of our doctor's receptionist and had to come get one for myself. I bought the one with the dragon fly and it is really attractive. I haven't used it with scented oils, but it works great as a humidifier and doesn't take up too much space on a counter or table. And it's way more attractive than the chunky, ugly humidifiers we used when my kids were young. I also love that you don't need to use purified water. So easy! Plastic cover was dented on arrival but I was able to fix it. It's very pretty and works good. I wish the design didn't have a wide black line where it's connected around. I put that part in back and it's just fine.
