Ya’ll remember those Barbie dolls in the bottom of the toy box? You know, the one whose hair has been battered and brushed and cut with plastic school scissors?? Not the Malibu one, that other one aunt Debbie got you from the Dollar General $1 section. Yeah! Now you know. So, if you’re like me and rely on honest reviews, this is very honest. You might look like that Malibu Barbie before the event or night out, but after a few drinks and dances, you’ll end up looking like that Dollar General Barbie aunt Deb gotchu. Move along boo boo, this one ain’t quite right.

Color: Flaxen Gray
I bought the flaxen gray color. My hair is what I describe as old mouse :/ . Used to be light brown but now has a lot of gray. All the grays I see are very cool silver color and my hair color is definitely not cool silver. I do like the color but it is very one dimensional. ( still have my brown color underneath at the neck) I am going to try a brown root touch up spray on a few strands. This seems to be well made, came packaged well and arrived quickly. One thing I did do was to cut the tight elastic cord and pulled it out that made it a true scrunchie. It was tightly balled up and I wanted a looser look. I think it improved it a lot! It looks a lot fuller. more like the pictures I will use it with a claw clip. Lol I haven't been able to find a clip in the hair color I wanted. Bottom line is, I would recommend this and I would repurchase.

I purchased the Flaxen Gray and it is close to my hair. Gray is a hard color to match because there are so many shades of gray. I don't use this as a scrunchie. I just loosen it a little and use bobbie pins to attach to my hair and I pin up my own hair in the back and let the attached hair just hang down, kind of looks like a messy pony tail. It's light weight but it was too shiny so I dusted it with baby powder only I used too much so it was then too dull. I had to shake it alot to get some shine back. Over all I am pleased with this piece.
