You get what you pay for.
It's too late to return but hopefully not to warn other possible buyers. These boots continually have had the cheap metal struts/staves popping out in all different places. I unfortunately bought 3 sets and each day have had to replace/repair at least one of the inserts. I tried to get the seller to send me additional inserts but was not successful. BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought for the very low price & regret such a decision!

Too big
Good product, but too big to stay on a regular sized donkey’s legs. I got them put on and he just stepped right out of them. Need something that can wrap tighter near the hooves for our situation.

Cheap
They're cheap. Poor design. Material is good but the end result is disappointing

Didn’t work on my mare.
Rec’d and placed on mare. 3 days later I find a stave on the ground in the pasture. 2 days later, I noticed the boot was scrunched up on her leg and 2 more staves were working there way out. I immediately removed and discarded the boot. I, also, removed the other boots and discarded to prevent possible injury. They had potential but just didn’t make it.

Do not buy, awful metal stays
the stays that hold the fly boots up are made of metal and come out on the first use. These very thin metal stays are the same dimension as the mesh holes. After a day, the stays work their way out through the mesh. Look for boots with plastic stays.

Horse Flies
My son and Daughter-in-law just purchased a horse and having issues with biting flies at the stables. The legs seem to be the most venerable. These wraps add protection and comfort without using chemicals. She says they work great for the horse and loves them.

Shoo fly, don't bother my horse
You can't beat the quality for the price. I was expecting them to be destroyed quickly, but they've lasted a month without damage. The velcro is strong enough that they haven't been kicked of yet and the supporting material hasn't caused any damage to the animal. I would get again in the future if needed.
