Perfect for hikes 3 miles or less. Anything more than 3 miles, I prefer a mid or high top for ankle support. But these are super cute and awesome for shorter hikes!!

After wearing these shoes for about 2 months, the heel in the right shoe caved in making it unwearable. I have never owned a pair of Merrell’s, and after this experience, I never will again. There is no way to fix the issue, not even a new insole would make a difference. It’s the integrity of the entire heel of the shoe. I wore it like that until I started to affect my foot and cause me pain. I hope and expect Amazon will do something to make this situation right. I would expect you to stand behind the products you sell and to do so indefinitely, especially a pair of shoes that when not on sale cost $130.00. I’ll look forward to hearing a solution from you folks there at Amazon. Thank you. To everyone else,I would NOT recommend these shoes. ... show more
