These sandals fit my somewhat narrow foot very well. Thankfully the foot bed isn't squishy soft, but has enough cushion to be very comfortable ...for my feet. I took them on a trip to Athens, Greece last summer not really expecting them to be wearable all day, and they were excellent. I could wear them all day without issues. That is why a purchased a second pair. I hope Merrell keeps the sole shape & material and manufacturer for future shoes. ... show more

I keep buying these sandals over and over and in different colors; They adjust well (my feet are on the narrow side), are very comfortable, sturdy, supportive, and look well with any clothing; and they last forever too! The first pair lasted almost five years. I have bought them also for one of my sisters who was suffering from lower-back pain related to how she walks. She uses then now all summer long and has no pain. They do not have cushioning, just some cloth, and that helps if you want to take them to the beach and make them wet (I have and the leather did not suffer). It is an excellent buy ... show more

I’m a 10 in most shoes. These fit big in length. They have quite an arch which fits ok, but might be better if I had an 9.5 size(which they don’t make). The straps are comfortable. They don’t pinch or rub. There was no breaking-in wear necessary. I can slip my foot in and out without using the Velcro each time which is nice. I have other merrell shoes and boots and I’m not sure these will last/look good for long. After 3 days of wearing them for 3 days they are starting to look quite worn and the quality isn’t like other Merrill’s. ... show more

    • SIZING CHANGES EVERY SHOE
I love this sandal. I bought a pair last year in olive green, and they were perfect. I tried to buy a pair in light aqua (same style) earlier this summer, but it ran very small. I ordered 3 pairs to try and get one to fit. No luck! so I just ordered this one in a size 10, and it's too big! so now I"m waiting on a size 9...... Also the color is no where near to the photograph. The shoes are MUCH darker. If the 9 fits, I'll keep them. But what a hassle. SIZING VERY INCONSISTENT.... ... show more

Really pleased with these, they are very comfortable. Color choices are great as well. There is a bit of extra space at the top of the shoe but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. They also seem very well made and I hope they’ll hold up over time.

I love these sandals, they fit great ! I have several pairs in different colors. My only issue was the color of the black/lilac sandals. On the sole, the bottom pieces look like they are lilac, but they are actually beige - it does not fit with the black and lilac on the top part of the sandal. I returned them, but they fit well. I love the sandals, however... I wear a size 9.5. These sandels do not come in half sizes so I bought a 10. It was suggested I buy 9. They are super comfortable but I anticipate issues down the road regarding the velcro strap. I have it on the very end for a good fit and the velcro strap barely makes it to the end. I would suggest to Merrill to make the whole strap velcro or replace it with a small buckle. ... show more
