These run very small. I’m a tall girl & usually get size 11s which are a bit big but work with thick socks. I got these for a long distance trip and they were too tight with just gym socks on. The dilemma of ordering online…due to the trip I didn’t have time to return them within the window - so now I’m stuck trying to find these shoes a new home that I don’t mind blowing that cost on. Wish I took a pic before sending back First off - I LOVE Merell Moab hiking boots. This color was hideous in person who is the only reason for the minus one star and why I took them back. But be warned this is a BULKY hiking boot. I own them in gray and it's time for new boots.. this color was cheapest and now I know why. Yikes. Don't go for the pale green and cream if you value fashion at all. They're def waterproof and I typically wear an 8 but need to go up 1/2 size in these. I sent that back and got trail runners (backpacking in Colombia this week and I wanted something lighter, my last backpacking trip in Nicaragua and I was wearing my bulky moabs the entire time because they didn't fit in my bag and I was jealous of all the ppl with trail runners on). With that said I'll grab a other pair of Moabs when I get back. They are very much waterproof as well, I wore them in Moab (lol) and my friend got wet feet wading through puddles in Vans, I didn't (we also both got lost one night and he had so many cactuses in his feet and they didn't phase me AT ALL with these on). I used to work in wetlands and my feet always stayed dry. I recommend the shoe if you don't mind a little bulkiness, they have arch support for days and are like walking on clouds. Only do not get the light green color in my opinion. Seriously not a fan lol ... show more

Very comfortable, wore hiking the next day after buying and never needed to break in! They are indeed waterproof and they were definitely worth the money!
