Wow! I just returned from hiking three days in Zion National Park in Utah. These shoes were lifesavers! They were comfortable, supportive, lightweight, and kept me very secure as I was hiking up and down the trails. They never slipped on me and they did not hurt my feet. I am so happy that I chose these shoes out of all the choices I had. When I returned home, I washed them in a bucket with a small amount of laundry detergent and they looked brand new after they air dried. You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy these shoes. I will definitely buy another pair (If I ever need to replace these incredible hiking shoes). Thank you, Merrell, for engineering such a perfect pair of hiking shoes!

Not an avid hiker but bought these for a 6-mile hike that was quite challenging. It rained on and off and these were amazing. Great grip, were water resistant, and were so comfortable - no need to be broken in. They are very roomy in the toe area so I would suggest wearing thick hiking socks. Also got tons of compliments on the style!

I wear 8.5 to 9. I had bought the Moab 2 and chose size 9 because they recommended that. It was way too short. Returned it next day and ordered the Moab 3 (the Moab 2 is no longer made, I think). So I ordered size 9.5 and it fits well and feels great to walk on. Merrill makes quality shoes (I’ve owned several different kinds of Merrell’s and they’ve all been excellent). I was surprised at the size issue, however. Other reviewers seem to have had the opposite problem. It’s a great shoe and just be sure you get the right size.

I realized I needed a new walking/hiking shoe to replace the Skechers that caused my foot to blister. They are the Dlite light weight model and not made for hard walking. I am not a little person. And I walk hard. The Skechers are fine for fashion but this pair was not made for extensive walking. I bought some insoles for the Skechers as I will still wear from time to time. I got these in an 11 wide width and they are very comfortable and give great support. Merrel is a good brand. I tried them on in a local shoe store and they fit ok even without being wide. But at $120, I was not feeling it. So I got home and ordered these for about $85 and they ARE wide width. Comfortable, made well and will do the job. I highly recommend.

I initially ordered these shoes in a size 7 and 7.5 and kept the 7.5 as the 7 were too small. I am a 7.5 in all my other shoes. I mostly use them to go hiking with my toddler in the parks near us in Colorado Springs. I like that they protect my feet. I especially like the hard toe front that protects my toes from rocks. Overall they are comfortable but a little hard. My feet don't hurt when I step on sharp rocks so I guess the hard bottom is to protect the feet. But I would prefer them to be softer so I might buy an insert. My feet do overheat in them but I've never owned hiking shoes so this might be just a feature of hiking shoes. I never slip when hiking so the traction is really good, which is important since I'm pregnant and don't want to fall. They are great shoes and stylish enough for my 30 year old self. The price for these were amazing, 1/3 cost of the regular price so I'd buy again if necessary.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland. I have had this brand before and really liked them. These did not disappoint! They are very comfortable, supportive, and slip resistant. I was able to wear them for a lot of hiking and walking with absolutely no issues with discomfort. I didn’t even have to break them in! The color is also so pretty.

Listed on Amazon as men's shoes, reverified! But shoes that shipped are women's. Fortunately they run large enough to use. Like the quality and fit. Wide enough toe box for my bunions, but tight enough for ankle support. Love the insole and high arch support. Soles are good for traction and wear. Being waterproof will be great for walking the dogs this winter.
