I really love these shoes to be honest. They are super comfortable and sturdy for hiking. I've had these for about a month now and they are great. I hike every week and can walk from 2 hours up to 6 and these shoes hold up support wise. Breaking them in for me wasn't too uncomfortable. They hurt my heals a little bit but it stopped after 3 or 4 wears. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. They can make your feet hot in the summer but it's worth it to have good support during a hike and not go home with aching painful feet. I also feel these are a good quality for the price. Not too much more than buying some sneakers. I also don't think the water proof versions of these shoes would be worth it unless you're running through water or are willing to hike in heavy rain. Hope this is helpful :)

Normally my wife has to wear special inserts in the foot bed for flat feet. These don't require her to use those inserts. For hiking they have been on walking trails all the way up to basically climbing over boulders that are called a trail. Work great, nice traction, great comfort, great support, great fit. Can't say how they will hold up over all since they've only been down 3 or so trails so far for a total of maybe 10 miles...but as of right now they still look and feel new.

I ordered these for a vacation and didn't have time to try them on or break them in. I was so pleasantly surprised that they were comfortable from the first time I wore them. They provide exceptional support, without being too stiff. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, I could have ordered these in a 7.5 and they would have fit perfectly. Finally, the price was amazing! I highly recommend them.

These shoes have proven to be durable & comfortable. Also, I didn’t even have to break them in. I wore them every day & all day from morning to evening, for a 12 day trip that involved a lot of hiking and other adventures in a variety of weather that involved mud, rain, freezing cold, extreme dry heat, dust, etc. I cleaned the mud off and they were good to go. I’m used to putting arch support inserts in most of my shoes but these didn’t need them. They cradled my feet, had arch support, and these were probably my first athletic shoes that didn’t make my feet or legs tired. These shoes have been with every penny!

They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. They look like athletic shoes on steroids. Better than diabetic footware, which costs 3 times as much as these. Get them. Your feet will thank you!

Very supportive shoe, well made. Get a half size larger, and it will fit. I normally wear 7.5, but an 8 in these is perfect. I was worried it wouldn’t be wide enough because there was no way to specify wide, but it was nice and wide, and not too wide. Good for hiking.
