I have worn these camping when it's been 27 degrees and my feet were great all day and I have worn them all day at 87 degrees and my feet weren't hot. I haven't been in the rain with them yet but I can wear them for three day weekend campouts as my only shoes and have 0 problems. I've hiked in them and feel supported and comfortable. With me being a teacher of 20+ years I have to watch what shoes I wear or my heels start hurting over time, not these shoes. Worn them with thick wool socks, thin wool socks and cotton socks. Didn't feel like the shoes weren't too wide or narrow enough to accommodate any of my socks.

I had to return the previously ordered women's yokota 2 Merrell's because they ran small. I normally wear a size 6 and they were snug. Yokota's were out of stock so I ordered the Alverstone hiking shoes and ordered 1/2 size larger due to the reviews and previous shoes, but they ended up being more accurately a 6.5 size and much wider than the other style. Both are nice shoes just be cautious of the sizing; the yokota 2's run 1/2 size small and the Alverstone's run more true to size.

I wish these came in wide width. I think they’d fit a bit better. I think they’ll do well on the trail all day. I also bought the Moab for heavier trail hikes.

These shoes are so comfortable, and supportive and have good traction! I broke my ankle 5 months ago and needed a GOOD tennis shoe to support the ankle, and keep me from slipping and falling (again). GREAT JOB!

I like this product and when I found them on Amazon for 40$ I didn't hesitate to grab a pair. They don't disappoint! Not all colors were this price but for the $ and the product I didn't care about color. I'll get another pair.

I love this lightweight hiking shoe. And it was so reasonably priced. I hike some rocky trails and never feel the rocks under my feet. I’ve gotten no blisters. And the toe box is wide enough. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it runs small. So I had to return it and order half a size larger.
