My absolute favorite pair of boots to this day, I’ve been wearing them for about 4 months now and my feet don’t ache after a day of work. The grip is extreme and I love it. It lets my sink my foot on the corner of something and my foot does not move. They’re very comfortable and breathable. They’ve been very durable in my line of work, I love the style as well, the waterproof is also great, the water just beads right off. The functionality is spot on, they do exactly what they’re designed to do while providing some arch support. This mid-high boot seems to be all it is described as. The 11 1/2 size was just a bit small and I plan to order the size 12 now.

    • Grippy sole, awkward lacing, toe box is almost wide enough

Nice enough boot and seem well made. I wish the top two eyelets were speed hooks instead of just the top one. They take a little finagling to loosen before putting them on. Wider toe box than most but I'd be more comfortable if they were even wider. The sole is grippy on the muddy trails I frequent.

Perfect!!! Just what my son needed for his job since he is on his feet all day. He said they are very comfortable. But I will say they are not true to size. He wears and 8, he ordered an 8 and they were too small. He had to send them back and re-order a 9. The nine fit perfectly.

    • Not waterproof as described and rubber comes off at the toes.

I got these for my husband and he has been wearing them for a week. They are not waterproof like described and the rubber is coming off already at the tips of the toes. He loves the way that they are a wide fit and comfortable.

I was thrilled that Merrill offered a barefoot style hiker boots (I love my Vivo barefoot boots, but the sole is too thin). What I found is that these are not “barefoot” shoes, they have a very uncomfortable high arch support, and my feet aches after an hour of use.

Excellent waterproof breathable shoes, great for cross country hiking. These shoes fixed my feet. I'm 69 yrs old and I walk comfortably throughout the Hells Canyon country without pain or discomfort for the first time in years. I average 5 miles a day and the mid height Wrapt shoes last me about three seasons. Perfect arch support, unbelievable traction, really just perfect for me.
