First test I out these boots on was a 3 hour trail by my house that was all gravel and dirt. More of a “off the beaten trail” type of hike. They felt amazingly comfortable throughout the hike and didn’t make my feet sore at all, even after the hike. Very durable, able to take a rough hike and not have to worry about rocks/pebbles getting in your boots. Nor do you have to worry about thorns poking through the boot and into your shoe. According to the box, this model is a Moab 3 GTX size 12. I did a couple of miles of pavement walking and found it to be comfortable with good arch and overall support. It felt about the same as a Moab 3 WP that i also tried. I would like a little more cushion, however.
