This is my second pair of the Merrell Moab hiking boots. I bought my original pair a few years ago to hike throughout Texas. Since then they're my daily work boot and motorcycle boot. Can't wear them out. So, to ensure this continues I bought a second pair. They're just as comfortable, right out of the box. I may never have to wear them. Check back in a couple of years. Why not 5 stars? The new pair, although waterproof, is suede. When I ordered them I thought they'd be just like the originals; smooth leather.

The boots for me were a great fit and comfortable. The other brands I ordered prior to ordering Merrill, like Columbia and Keen the size 10 my toes would touch the front of the boot and the footbed were not comfortable, I had to return them. The Moab Adventure Merrell boot was a great fit and extremely comfortable they are true to size. You would be extremely happy with them.

The box felt to light to be boots. When I opened it the boots looked a little small. I tried them on and they fit just right. This is a very comfortable hiking boot. Can also be used for casual wear. I am very happy with this purchase.
