Quality boot with good fit

These are very well made safety work boots. The fit is comfortable also. Unfortunately, I can’t use them as I need boots that are not metallic due to using metal detectors at work and the carbon graphite safety toe, although not made of metal, still sets off the metal detecting pinpointer I tested them with. ... show more

I have a pair of Merrell hiking boots for 4 yrs that have not come apart at all. Very well made and so comfortable. That is why I bought these. So far same experience with these boots. These are without a doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Even after adding memory foam and gel insoles, they are excruciating after just a couple hours, particularly in the heel. Comfortable , I got them on Feb 4 2025. Already falling apart and it's only March 22nd 2025. The quality of Merrell has gone down hill . Not happy.
