I wanted a nice pair of boots that were also easy to slip on and off for quick in and out activities around the yard. I have had several pairs of regular lacing hiking boots from this company and I've been pleased with their overall quality. So far I like these boots as well. I generally wear anywhere from a 13.5 to a 14 and since 13.5 was not an option, I got the 14s. I found them to fit on the large side, but after inserting some new extra cushion inserts after the first two months they seem to fit just fine. I think these boots looks very nice and especially with the added inserts are very comfortable. I will say that I would not describe these boots as easy slip-on boots, which is why I only rated them as 4-stars. I was hoping after some wear the stretch fabric near the top would have relaxed a little more, but these are still a two-handed effort to get on my feet. Just slipping my foot easily into the boot is not an option. Even a one-handed pull at the back frequently is impossible. If the boot becomes more flexible and allows easier slip on as they wear I'll update my review. ... show more

I was really looking forward to getting these. I had a brown pair of the old version. I wore them for years. Fishing, casual around town. They were slip on hiking shoes. So I ordered my size 10.5 and I had to send them back because I couldn’t get them on and off I returned them and ordered a wide in size 11 I absolutely hate these boots. It’s like I’m wearing a pair of those clunky sloppy mud boots people wear. Because of their shape they don’t look good in a pair of jeans or regular pants. Just like you wouldn’t wear those short slip on mud boots with a pair of jeans these look stupid. So basically they’re only good for slipping on in the muck. They’re not form fitting enough to wear hiking or walking on river walk. Not enough support And they’re too dumb looking to wear into town to a restaurant or whatever. Super disappointed. I don’t know why they butchered these like this. The material just isn’t stretchy and form fitting so they had to make them too loose to fit for people. I have to purchase a new pair somehow somewhere. So I’m out my money and feel like it’s got robbed. I should have sent them back. ... show more

One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes my husband says he has ever owned BUT they haven’t even listed a couple months. The toe rubber came loose and also the side rubber sole within a couple weeks me a couple months later and the entire bottom tread is coming off.
