Usual high-quality shoes but not true to the beluga color of the Moab 2 vent and darker with little contrast. My biggest complaint is they are very stiff and not very comfortable to wear compared to regular Moab 2 vent likely from the nylon arch support. For the record I have been wearing Merrils for at least the past 8 years and currently own 6 assorted pairs of Moabs and a pair of jungle mocs which all get 5 stars.

It's not comfortable almost at all, I know this brand and I know it's a good brand but still I'd expect more comfortable shoe from them. It's a hiking shoe and made for long walks but it's not comfortable as it should be. Still, I didn't buy it to go hiking, it's for rainy day walks for me(short walks) so it'll work for me.

Had several pairs of Merrells over they years. Always a decent shoe. I'm in fields early mornings with wet grass and they stay dry. Wear the all day every day. A little heavier than I was expecting but they're good. Won't hesitate to get another pair when these wear out.

I can't tell if the shoe is too short or if its fit causes my foot to slide to the front of the shoe. The shoe is the same length as another pair of Merrells that I own. When I walk in these GTX model, it feels like my foot slides toward the front of the shoe. I tightened the laces more, but that didn't help, so I returned these.

Third pair of Merrell Moabs and a replacement to an excellent, well-worn pair of Moab 2 Vents. Purchased for specifically taking dogs on long walks through fields and woods in the early AM, as my feet were getting soaked by the wet grass from the morning dew in my Moab 2 Vents. After wearing for a week, the good news is still great Merrell quality, good fit and comfort. The bad news - the shoe is no more water resistant than my Moab 2 Vents. After an hour walk, I still come home with wet feet. Disappointed with the Moab 2 GTX's moisture performance.
