Nice shoes, I wish they fit. They're well made and attractive, but the wide width is a C at best. I returned these. The search for real extra wide waterproof hiking boots for women continues.

I have small feet so I thought I could get kids shoes that have better color choices and are less expensive. The quality of Merrel kid shoes are not that great. For kids they are probably great, but adults will not appreciate the lack of arch support and crappy shoe laces.

My son needed size 6 hiking boots for his week at Boy Scout camp, which are a tough size to find instore. He tried on a pair of low top Merrell's at a local store and the fit was great, so I purchased these on Amazon. He wore them on a walk around the block before they got packed into his foot locker, and he wore them everyday at camp. He was excited that they were waterproof -- the last night of camp was a big rainstorm, complete with a Tornado warning (one touched down 20 miles from camp), so when they were able to return to their campsite from the shelter he was excited that his feet stayed dry through the puddles. Really happy with the purchase and will continue to buy Merrell's as he grows.
