These are GREAT socks for winter sports. I'm a ski instructor and finding the right sock to use in a ski boot isn't always simple. Most are way too thick, not long enough, or feel too constricting. Great socks. Very comfy and fit well inside my ski boots. I'm a patroller so spend literally 10 hours or more in my boots hauling sleds, checking terrain, and setting up bamboo and ropes. The media could not be loaded. Update at the bottom. I ordered these for our upcoming snow trip. The packaging was AA++. I usually don’t prioritize packing but wanted to mention here since it was superb. They were vacuum sealed and in a nice box. The socks fit me perfect, I am a true shoe size 7 (women), and kind of short. I ordered the medium which is size 5-7. As I mentioned in the video, I really don’t think they would be too big for a size 5 person. Fit is wonderful. They are stretchy but firm and soft enough for socks. (See video). The extra padding is exactly what you see, it’s the extra material on top of the sock for extra support while sking. I ordered the xl for my husband. I will update once we put them to the test. UPDATE: these worked out great for our trip. They kept our feet warm and I really like that they fit so secure, not loose and not to tight. I did notice a couple of balls of knit after washing but nothing to worry about. I would recommend.
