These socks are great. The best thing about them is they are smooth between my skin and the boot so no chaffing. Made the boots more comfortable. They are fairly thin so not much padding.

I bought these and use them for work. I'm in rubber boots for 12-hour shifts. I noticed when I take them off my feet are a little bit less wet and sweaty than the regular work socks that you would get at Walmart which I find my feet being soaked in. They hold up well on the calf and don't slip down either

I had my doubts as to whether these were really Merino Wool, so I looked at the listing again and saw that they are a claimed 30% Merino Wool. They don't feel like any of my wool socks, Regardless, you really can't go wrong with these and they are worth the price.
