Easiest, smoothest, best bikini trimmer I’ve ever used. Was pre charged, so I was able to use it right out of the box. I didn’t use a guard and can agree with other reviews that it isn’t a super close shave. However it is only a trimmer, I always go back with a razor anyways. No snags or pulls. Waterproof. Just tried it to trim the bikini line and it did ok. I wasn't sure how it would do with one blade being plastic and one being metal. It did a pretty good job but it did leave a few hairs that I had to go back and clean up. It didn't pull hairs at all, which is nice. I would have liked it to be a bit of a tighter trim but what can you do. I do like that you can tilt the blades out and clean out the hairs that get into the shaver with a small brush. Over all it did pretty good, would have liked it to be a cleaner first sweep and I'm not sure how long the plastic blade will last, but it did pretty well. ... show more

I was looking for alternatives to shaving and waxing, because I didn’t like the result left behind due to razor bumps, cuts, and how painful and difficult it is to self wax. I look on TikTok and I saw a few videos of people recommending this trimmer, and I decided to give it a shot. Although most are hesitant due to it being for “men” or if not giving a Brazilian wax like cut but it gives a close shave and for me that is enough for maintenance and if I wanted a Brazilian effect I could go over the trimmers work with a razor, overall it’s a really good product and I absolutely love it and my results. ... show more

This is a study little trimmer at a very reasonable price. The skin gaurd seems to work just fine. It charges fast and feels good in your hand. I'm glad I bought this and not some gimmicky overpriced trimmer.

    • A good thing gone bad

So I bought my trimmer in December of 2023 after seeing all the raving reviews on TikTok and even on YouTube and when I got it, It worked wonderfully. I’ve used it exactly three times. I’ve charged it twice and made sure I read the manual and followed all the instructions as to how I should take care of my trimmer. Then on the evening of February 5th I go to use the trimmer and I realize the battery is dead. So I get the regular charger that I usually use and I plug it in…… it lights up but not in the way it should…….the lights should be blinking on the power indicator but instead all the lights are on indicating it’s fully charged. So I plug it out to try it out and it’s not turning on now. So I leave it to charge overnight with the hopes that even though all the lights are on and not blinking like it should be….. that maybe in the morning it will work. Morning comes, I go to turn it on and again nothing. Keep in mind I’ve done my troubleshooting, I’ve went to the website to see what I might be doing wrong….. I’ve even contacted customer service and nothing is working. So now not even 2 months later I’ve wasted my money on a trimmer that I thought would be a great investment because now it’s not working and I can’t get a refund or a replacement. A good thing gone bad. I’m so disappointed… and I really liked it🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I’ve changed from one star to three mainly because I got through with meridian’s customer service after nagging a bit… thank you for hearing my cries ... show more

    • Seems like a good body hair trimmer but not a ball trimmer.

Ok I didn’t have this long before I returned it so I can’t speak to the long term quality of it, but a couple things I can tell you: Up front it seems like a quality product for trimming hair/beard/pubic hair down to about 3mm. Any length less than that uses the bare blade because this doesn’t include a blade cover/skin protector so beware if you plan to trim your sack area. Drew blood immediately. I ended up going with the Manspot (original) trimmer. It is almost identical to the Meridian but has the 1mm blade cover that protects your sack. If you want perfection you still will have to use the razor to finish. I can also trim up my body and facial hair with it. I like the one-blade by Phillips too, and was my go to but the blades are to fragile and if you drop it in the sink they break. Crazy the blades are $10 a piece, which is way too much, they can make these to survive a drop. But they are making big money on the blades. I might get another blade to do fine trimming on face but not sure I need it with the Manspot trimmer. But I digress. ... show more
