Sometimes hard to follow because of all the models but if you take your time it's not bad. Used it to rebuild the carburetor and fuel pump on my outboard. Pictures and schematics of all parts was super helpful.

I ordered this book to help me do a complete tear down and rebuild of a 90 hp mariner lower gear case, I found very little info at all on the unit accept changing grease and waterpump work , if i missed a section in the book please let me know. rc schlessinger.

Item arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was adequately packaged. The manual covers a number of years and a variety of the Mercury motors but I had no problem at ally relating the sections that pertained specifically to my 40Hp motor. Comprehensive manual and absolutely recommend it if you are interested in working on, or maintaining, you own Mercury outboard motor. ... show more
