So, I suffered through so many listings to try to find the coins I was expecting when I searched 'pirate gold coins'. I found other listings to have rather dumb designs on them, like picture of a treasure chest on the coin, or a poor looking eagle, for america I guess. Pretty lame. These have a great design, not cartoony. I also needed a large amount. For 15 dollars, 200 coins seems fair. They're a little low quality in some ways but I feel that's expected for novelty pirate coins. Particularly, all the coins in one of my packs had undesirbale plastic sprues on every coin (See picture). I used a craft knife to shave off the extra plastic. There were also a number of coins with chopped paint or discoloration. Again, expected. I would give these 3.5 stars, and I do recommend them. My biggest regret is they don't seem to come in silver. I'm considering buying this again and spray painting them silver. Ah, and they look good in a chest. ... show more
